The Role

The Active Directory Administrator is responsible for implementing, administering, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure in enterprise environments. The role focuses on Domain Controllers, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS integration, Group Policy administration, replication management, security hardening, disaster recovery, and operational support.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Required Qualification

• 4+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Organizational Units (OUs), and user/computer lifecycle management.
• Experience managing multi-domain and multi-forest Active Directory environments, including trust relationships and domain migrations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity synchronization using Microsoft Entra Connect, and hybrid identity solutions.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and reporting.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, SAML, and OAuth.
• Experience supporting Windows Server operating systems and core infrastructure services.
• Familiarity with AD security best practices, privileged access management, auditing, and security compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex identity and access management issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
