PH - Media Buyer Specialist

We're looking for a Media Buyer Specialist to own the performance and impact of a large book of complex, custom paid media campaigns for our practices — leading strategy, setup, optimization, and communication with practices and cross-functional teams to get results.

You'll also be stepping into using AI as leverage — scaling both the quality and volume of your work by recognizing patterns, making good bets, and playing to exploit every advantage, rather than relying on automated platforms or SOPs to do the thinking for you.

Ad buying is changing fast. This role exists for someone who understands data, tracking, and the full funnel deeply enough to know when to follow our best practices and when to trust their own judgment — and who's ready to own the outcome either way. Getting this right lets the rest of our media team focus on their own work instead of constantly course-correcting an underperforming book.

Our objectives for the role

• Own the performance of a large, complex book of campaigns, around 50 initially and scales up with time — from strategy and setup through optimization — and be accountable for the outcome, whether you followed our playbooks or your own judgment to get there.

• Build deep command of our reporting and tracking systems so you can pull your own data, diagnose account health quickly and accurately, and manage risk proactively before it shows up in results.

• Use AI as leverage to run more accounts at a higher level — treating media buying as a competitive game of pattern recognition, hypothesis-driven testing, and educated bets – to drive results you’ll own.

• Contribute best practices and workflows — like a new setup approach or AI-assisted process — that get adopted as standard team practice.

• Use your understanding of the full funnel we deploy and your excellent communication skills to influence clients and cross-functional teams towards better performance for the campaigns you own.

We're looking for:

• Ownership and accountability — you take full responsibility for a large book of accounts' results, regardless of whether you followed an SOP or your own judgment to get there.

• Autonomy and judgment — you know when to lean on established playbooks and when to deviate, and you're comfortable making that call independently.

• Optimization and testing rigor — you approach media buying like a competitive game: pattern recognition, hypothesis-driven tests, and educated bets, not guesswork.

• Tracking and reporting command — you can pull your own data and diagnose account and tracking health quickly, without waiting on someone else to hand you a report.

• Productive use of AI — you use AI to scale the volume and quality of your work, but you don't let it replace your own judgment on what actually moves the needle.
