In this role, you will serve as a key HR partner within the business, helping leaders navigate employee matters, strengthen team effectiveness, and support people operations across the organization. You'll work closely with managers and internal HR partners to help build a thoughtful, compliant, and scalable people experience in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and team dynamics with partnership from the HR Manager on complex matters.
• Support workforce planning and open role prioritization within the region in partnership with the HR Manager and TA function.
• Assist in the people readiness process for new location openings within the assigned region, coordinating pre-opening HR tasks.
• Analyze regional people data — turnover, ER patterns, headcount — and surface observations to the HR Manager.
• Partner with the HR Generalist in the region on ER triage and case management.
• Develop knowledge of multi-state labor law requirements and NAKEDᴹᴰ compliance obligations across the region.
• Serve as the senior strategic HR partner for all district and regional leadership across the organization, operating with full independence.
• Independently lead complex, sensitive ER investigations, restructurings, and performance matters — including those with legal, regulatory, or reputational implications.
• Own regional workforce planning: headcount modeling, succession planning, talent pipeline development, and retention strategy in direct partnership with regional directors.
• Drive the people readiness process for all new location openings in the region end-to-end, owning timelines and cross-functional coordination.
• Lead manager capability development programs within the region — designing and facilitating coaching frameworks, calibration sessions, and feedback practices.
• Analyze and present regional people metrics (turnover, engagement, ER trends, headcount) to HR Manager and leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.

Annual starting range: $85k-105k

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of progressive HR experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and advising managers on employee relations or performance matters, with growing comfort doing so independently.
• Experience with investigation processes and performance management frameworks.
• Experience partnering with district managers, regional managers, or studio managers.
• Knowledge of California labor law.
• Onsite Monday- Friday 9-6pm.

Preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in a business partner role.
• Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations.
• Proficiency with Rippling or a comparable HRIS.
• Knowledge of broader multi-state labor law and multi-entity experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
