Our department focuses on the operation of Rakuten Mobile shops, driving business growth and creating customer touchpoints through real-world channels. Our shops are not merely locations for contract acquisition; they serve as a "frontline of customer interaction" that offers services across the Rakuten Group, including telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce. They play a vital role in enhancing brand experience and expanding customer value.

Within this department, the Business Promotion Group leads the execution of business strategies and drives business growth by planning and promoting cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with various Rakuten services, as well as driving key operational and business reform projects.

Why We Hire
With the expansion of the Rakuten Mobile shop business, we are seeking talent to drive business growth originating from our physical stores.

In addition to promoting cross-functional initiatives that leverage Rakuten Group assets-such as finance, e-commerce, and content-we are seeing an increase in key projects related to shop operations, including the introduction of new initiatives, business reforms, and system development. We are looking for someone who can lead these efforts in collaboration with relevant departments to realize our business strategies.

Position Details
In this position, you will drive initiatives and projects aimed at realizing business strategies, leading the process from planning and execution to achieving results in collaboration with relevant departments.
Key responsibilities include:

・Planning and promoting cross-sell and customer-referral initiatives originating from shops in collaboration with various Rakuten Group services (finance, e-commerce, content, etc.).

・Project management for shop operations, including the introduction of new measures, business process improvements, and system implementations (including schedule, quality, and cost management).

・Leading initiatives and projects end-to-end-from planning and design to execution and effectiveness verification-through coordination and consensus-building with relevant departments and on-site teams.

・Generating business impact through KPI design, improvement, and problem-solving.

Work Environment
Under the guidance of a Senior Manager, each member proactively engages in their assigned initiatives and projects, working in an environment that offers a high degree of autonomy.

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Experience in driving initiatives or projects for business growth, such as business planning, sales planning, service planning, project management, or alliance promotion (Experience in a corporate or consulting firm is not required).

・Experience leading initiatives or projects from planning to execution and effectiveness verification while involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

・Experience in KPI design, performance monitoring, and identifying issues and improving initiatives through data analysis.

・Experience in proactively driving solutions, from root cause analysis to planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution when issues arise.

・Practical experience in creating materials, data analysis, and reporting using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

・Experience in business promotion within a platform business, or experience in planning and promoting cross-sell initiatives.

・Experience in driving business improvement and growth through data analysis and data utilization.

・Experience in business process improvement, DX (Digital Transformation) promotion, or cross-departmental project management.
