You will support the I2M and IIM process for site / cluster and ensure effective planning and execution of change as it relates to new and existing products, packaging and processes for a plant or cluster. At the plant level you will work on change management and innovation management capabilities.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Support Project Development / Execution: Support I2M/IIM (Innovation 2 Market; Initiative Management) within the site; Provide site AR write ups & prepare critical site inputs to the Regional BD, specifically for IIM Design Reviews (DR2 – DR6); Leads Project Verification (DR7); Design Reviews (DR4) onward lead Plant activities: Master data, Art Work, Raw/Pack Material availability, Track timings – and report to project team. Act as the source of internal and external information (contact for Commercial stakeholders and is the key interface between Category and Engineering / Manufacturing / R&D). Lead site post project evaluation and communication, planning and execution of promotional activities within the I2M process
- Support Site Strategic Plan / Annual Contract creation: Support the site director in developing the site strategy and plant road map. Be the key partner for Product Supply team on sourcing/capacity expansion – ensure full integration of Innovation/Renovation plans in 421 into site supply plans. Partner effectively with Engineering to build the site CAPEX budget. Ensure planning of the capital budget bottom up, including prioritization (i.e. integration with the full site agenda, specifically alignment of the annual timetable)
- Drive Ongoing business and Simplification: Integrate overall site change management agenda to ensure delivery of projects while maintaining service levels. Manage ongoing reprioritization, De-complexity agenda and support the delivery of the site productivity and improvement agenda. Ensure execution of regional /global menu cards and ensure that manufacturing hurdle rates are met. Support Product supply for assessment of manufacturing solutions for current supply and demand gaps in the site
- Lead, coach and build Capability of the Business development change coordinator(s) within the plant and other Key stakeholders.

- Strong operational & manufacturing experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standard
- Good understanding of end-to-end processes in the manufacturing and business environment; working knowledge of commercialization process (I2M); project leadership / management skills and technical and financial aspects of the business
- Strategic thinking, while having ability to excel in leading tactical programs

What you need to know about this position:
- Own and drive the BD&E strategic agenda for the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities, manufacturing strategy, and long-term business goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive master plan that enables growth, innovation, and efficiency across the network.
- Establish and manage a capital investment roadmap informed by the manufacturing strategy, site master plans, and the commercial roadmap.
- Lead the Long-Term Capital Plan (LTCP), building flexibility and capability while driving lower-cost production solutions, including projects required for capacity expansions across the region.
- Manage the CAPEX project spend across the region, ensuring governance, tracking, and alignment with approved budgets.
- Manage the Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and Capitalizations agendas for the regions, ensuring timely close-out and accurate financial reporting.
- Bring breakthrough thinking to unlock new options, ideas, and possibilities that advance the Business Unit's competitive position.
- Provide technical leadership and manufacturing expertise to the commercial team, enabling informed decision-making on product and capacity opportunities.
- Communicate plant product opportunities and ensure optimal utilization of plant capacities in line with strategic plans.
- Work closely with PCDMs in each market to build the pipeline for 421s and Productivity requirements.
- Coordinate manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain resources to support the successful execution of commercial and operational objectives.
- Lead multi-functional project teams comprising technical, operations, and local site functions to deliver strategic capital and innovation projects.
- Manage the full project lifecycle — concept, design, installation, commissioning, commercialization, ramp-up — with rigorous focus on safety, quality, cost, and timeline.
- Oversee the management of significant capital expenditure, including budget estimation, approval, tracking, and reporting.
- Drive the overall commercialization of projects, ensuring seamless handover from project delivery to steady-state operations.
- Lead and execute all product-related changes — both product and packaging — in cooperation with R&D, Procurement, Quality, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and execute all process-related changes, including harmonization of manufacturing processes and de-complexing the product portfolio.
- Manage new technology identification, process development, and integration into the manufacturing network.
- Support the tracks required for External Manufacturing (EM) development and qualifications, ensuring robust readiness.
- Manage Product and Process Modifications, New Product Launch preparation, and execution end-to-end.
- Drive continuous improvement through strategic and systemic reviews of existing processes, assets, and capabilities.
- Support and lead continuous improvement projects with a focus on cost, quality, and capacity enhancement.
- Lead the IIM Pillar executions and Standard Work Processes (SWPs) across the Business Unit.
- Manage and facilitate Concept Engineering and Appropriation Request (AR) development coordination across the network.
- Coach Plant BD&E teams on project execution, deliverables, and best-in-class engineering standards.
- Build capability across the regional BD&E community to strengthen the project management pipeline and technical depth
Education / Certifications:
BSc/MSc degree in Engineering.
Job specific requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience at operation roles (Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Development, Project Management).
- Strong knowledge and experience in food processing and packaging including knowledge of latest developments, practices and trends in food engineering and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of English and computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of technical and financial affairs Excellent Project Management skills
- Strong people management skills
- Strong coordination and management of Stakeholders within and beyond MSC
- Strong communication and negotiations skills
