We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, pricing, and quotations for electrical projects. You will play a key role in supporting the tendering and project coordination process, handling RFQs, reviewing project requirements, preparing competitive pricing, and raising POs once work is awarded, while ensuring accuracy, cost efficiency, and alignment with Australian standards and project requirements.
Position: Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
Salary: PHP 60,000 - PHP 80,000/month (flexible for more experienced candidates)
Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00AM to 4:00PM; full-time (remote)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate electrical estimates, drawing takeoffs, BOQs, and BOMs using Groundplan and the ECS estimating tool.
- Manage the RFQ, pricing, tendering, and quoting process, ensuring estimates are accurate and submitted within required timeframes.
- Coordinate procurement and purchase orders, including engaging subcontractors and suppliers and tracking materials and project costs.
- Support project coordination and mobilization, working closely with Project Managers on project schedules, resources, and procurement.
- Assist with progress claims, variations, EOTs, and cost-to-complete tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and document control, including drawings, RFIs, claims, variations, and as-built documentation using Bluebeam Revu.
- Support project handover and close-out, ensuring required documentation is complete and projects are properly finalised.
- Use and maintain key systems including simPRO, ECS Estimating Tool, Groundplan, Excel, Xero, ClickUp, and Bluebeam Revu.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical or construction estimating, quantity surveying, project engineering, or project coordination.
- Experience working on medium to large commercial, industrial, mining, or resources projects.
- Proven experience preparing accurate estimates, takeoffs, BOQs/BOMs, and quotes, and supporting projects through delivery and handover.
- Australian estimating experience and familiarity with Australian Standards, particularly AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and relevant electrical codes.
- Experience working with Australian or New Zealand companies, ideally supporting Australian projects.
- Experience working remotely or offshore for an Australian business is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Proficiency with simPRO and estimating software, with strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Groundplan, Bluebeam Revu, Xero, or ClickUp is an advantage.
- Good understanding of construction costing, margins, project costs, and commercial terms.
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, organised, and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple estimates and projects independently.
