This role combines regular producer engagement, periodic in-person field travel, and select tradeshow participation. You’ll collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and GTM teams to execute onboarding, enablement, and retention strategies - while providing market insights to influence our regional plans 

What you’d be doing:  

• Manage a defined portfolio of producers, focusing on emerging and high-potential agencies. 

• Build strong, consistent engagement through phone, video, email, and in-person visits. 

• Achieve assigned growth goals by engaging producers in sales conversations, uncovering opportunities, and addressing challenges. 

• Deliver a compelling value proposition for SageSure’s niche offerings in a conversational, persuasive manner. 

• Provide credible field intel on market trends, producer challenges, and competitive activity to inform state and regional strategy. 

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Managers, and GTM leads to execute campaigns, onboard new producers, and strengthen agency retention. 

• Create and adapt call scripts, engagement emails, and video messaging to drive producer action. 

• Participate in tradeshows and industry events as directed by regional leadership. 

• Track and report on sales and marketing campaign outcomes. 

• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve producer issues, address production gaps, and maintain a positive agency experience.  

We’re looking for someone who has: 

• 3–5 years in field sales, marketing, account management, or relationship support - preferably in personal lines P&C insurance (sales, service, underwriting, or agency). 

• P/C License or Professional Designation (CIC, CPCU, ARM, or other similar designation)  

• Strong business acumen with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines independently. 

• Account management experience in both virtual and in-person settings. 

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in influencing outcomes. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn reporting tools such as Domo. 

• Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar platforms. 

• A mindset of urgency, initiative, adaptability, and continuous learning. 

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

• Experience delivering training, mentoring peers, or supporting new hire onboarding. 

• Background in collaborating across multiple functions to achieve shared goals. 

Overview:

This role provides primary ownership and day-to-day leadership of SageSure’s Flood portfolio strategy, execution, and performance. The Senior Manager will drive analysis, planning, development, and cross-functional coordination across the Flood lifecycle, from market strategy and pricing through launch and optimization.

While this role carries significant ownership of portfolio initiatives and outcomes, ultimate accountability for enterprise-level strategy, capital allocation, and final approvals resides with senior leadership. Success requires strong independent judgment, proactive leadership, and the ability to elevate clear, data-driven recommendations for executive decision-making.

This role requires a strong combination of strategic vision, product management discipline, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders.

Performance will be measured by profitable growth, disciplined economics, operational execution, and the clarity of strategic insights delivered to leadership.

What You’d Be Doing:

Portfolio Strategy & Planning

• Lead development of the Flood product vision and multi-year roadmap
• Identify growth, modernization, and expansion opportunities
• Build business cases evaluating cost, benefit, risk, and capital impact
• Define KPIs and performance targets aligned with enterprise objectives
• Present structured recommendations to senior leadership for alignment and approval

Product Development & Execution Leadership

• Own product requirements, pricing strategy, and target margin development
• Drive cross-functional execution across Technology, Ops, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Data
• Oversee implementation of rating, underwriting rules, workflows, reporting, and UI updates
• Support state expansion efforts including modeling, underwriting alignment, and filings
• Maintain visibility into execution risks and escalate trade-offs appropriately

Modeling, Analytics & Data Stewardship

• Lead development of reporting infrastructure for production, claims, profitability, and capital monitoring
• Partner with CAT Modeling to support flood risk quantification and portfolio analytics
• Develop dashboards tracking P&L, take-up rates, loss curves, and return periods
• Perform segmentation and performance analysis to inform pricing and underwriting refinements
• Elevate performance insights and risk considerations to senior leadership

Go-to-Market & Performance Management

• Coordinate launch readiness and support agent enablement efforts
• Conduct structured post-launch reviews and recommend adjustments
• Monitor production, claims, and profitability trends
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance growth and operational efficiency

Carrier & Reinsurance Partnership Involvement

• Serve as the primary working lead for carrier and reinsurance engagement
• Analyze and evaluate treaty structures, economics, and risk exposure
• Prepare clear, decision-oriented summaries for leadership review
• Support negotiation strategy and partner alignment, with final approvals owned by senior leadership

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

• 7–10+ years of P&C insurance experience, with at least 5 years in product management, underwriting, analytics, or related roles
• Direct experience with Flood or catastrophe exposed property products
• Strong background in pricing, modeling, and product analytics
• Experience managing roadmaps, go-to-market initiatives, and portfolio performance
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently while aligning closely with executive leadership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, data-driven approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present executive-ready insights
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, mathematics, economics, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA or advanced degree in a related field
• Experience reviewing and supporting negotiation of property reinsurance agreements
• Deep understanding of catastrophe modeling and flood risk quantification
• Experience supporting regulatory filings and state expansion initiatives
• Familiarity with risk transfer mechanisms, underwriting guidelines, and reporting tools

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the drive and desire to make significant contributions to the success of the business. Once acclimated into the position, this person will have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of all companies and product lines, including underwriting guidelines and processes, and a general understanding of coverage forms.  

What you’d be doing: 

• Performs detailed research of account history and follow-up to provide customer resolution with flawless accuracy. 
• Keeps abreast of policy, product, and procedural changes to provide accurate information to producers, consumers, and policyholders regarding underwriting guidelines, coverages, and processing. 
• Meets or exceeds established performance metrics which include, but are not limited to, reporting to work as scheduled, call quality, handle time, first response resolution, etc. 
• Addresses inbound earthquake sales inquiries for potential customers. Collect and enter appropriate property and payment information to process quotes via the rating software. 
• Monitors the call queues and manages individual day-to-day responsibilities to consistently support performance goals and objectives. 
• Provides accurate information in an effective, timely and courteous manner via telephone and email. 
• Works with Underwriting and other departments to determine the appropriate resolution to customer concerns. 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum three years of customer service experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry and/or call center environment preferred.

• Brainstorm and source creative experiences including dinners and activities for events. 

• Financial management of event budgets, including budget development, management, and post-meeting reconciliation. 

• Lead negotiations for and book event space, arrange food and beverage, arrange supplies and audiovisual equipment, make travel arrangements, and ensure appropriate décor (florals, linens, color schemes, etc.).
