What You’ll Do 

As Manager, Acute Care Operations you will be the frontline leader responsible for the daily performance, readiness, and development of the Acute Care Operations Assistants (ACOA) and Advanced ACOA II team. Our Acute Care Operations Team supports our interdisciplinary team of MDs, APPs, RNs, and Pediatric Home Care Specialists that serve our children and their families. You are the operational anchor for this team ensuring that dispatch, scheduling, care coordination, and communication platforms and workflows operate reliably and consistently to support our clinicians and families.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and oversight to ACOA and ACOA II team members.
• Lead ongoing performance management, including regular feedback, coaching and participation in formal review cycles.
• Provide timely, consistent coaching and partner with People Operations on corrective action when performance, conduct, or adherence to SOPs does not meet expectations.
• Monitor workload distribution, dispatch accuracy, and adherence to SOPs.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance check-ins, and competency assessments.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex scheduling, dispatch, or communication issues.
• Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement

Operational Oversight & Workflow Reliability

• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of Pediatric Home Care Specialists (HCS) and MIH partners, including safety monitoring through Axle and/or other applications.
• Oversee scheduling workflows, including visit coordination, provider/HCS chat setup, and dispatching accuracy.
• Maintain high-quality documentation standards across Athena, CareHub, Axle, and other systems.
• Ensure eligibility checks, insurance verification, and record-sharing workflows are completed consistently.
• Monitor EHR inboxes and ensure timely provider support.

Quality, Training & Readiness

• Serve as the operational owner for ACOA/ACOA II training, onboarding, and cross-training.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new procedures and ensure team adoption.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to refine SOPs, workflows, and dispatch protocols.
• Audit documentation, scheduling accuracy, and communication logs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Acute Care clinicians, triage teams, intake, behavioral health, and MIH partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Participate in interdisciplinary huddles to support patient engagement, progress monitoring, and barrier identification.
• Serve as the operational liaison for committees, initiatives, and special projects within Imagine Pediatrics.

Service Excellence & Family Experience

• Ensure timely, compassionate, and professional communication with families, agencies, and referral partners.
• Support appointment adherence strategies, including reminder workflows and follow-up coordination.
• Uphold Imagine Pediatrics’ values in every interaction, modeling empathy and trust-building behaviors.

• Minimum 3–4 years experience in healthcare operations, dispatch, care coordination, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year in a senior acute care operations role or equivalent frontline leadership experience.

• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, you’ll serve in a hybrid role that blends coding precision with billing strategy to ensure timely and accurate claims submission,
compliance, and payment. You’ll collaborate with providers, the data team, and partner operations to streamline workflows, support documentation improvements, and reduce denials.

Billing & Claims Execution

• Submit clean, timely claims with accurate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers.
• Track and resolve denials, rejections, and underpayments with appropriate follow-up and resubmission.
• Validate eligibility, authorization, and proper billing pathways for all patient encounters.
• Ensure accurate use of telehealth, SDOH, and preventive care codes.
• Coordinate with credentialing, partner success, and payer reps to ensure claims compliance.

Coding & Documentation Optimization

• Review provider documentation and assign accurate codes per ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HEDIS/quality reporting guidelines.
• Identify and escalate incomplete documentation or coding gaps; issue coding queries as needed.
• Educate providers under the guidance of the Coding Manager to drive documentation improvement.
• Support implementation and testing of new documentation macros and encounter note templates.

Cross-Team Workflow Ownership

• Maintain and contribute to the internal billing rules matrix (payer, state, provider type, modifiers).
• Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to track claim trends, documentation compliance, and A/R performance.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle and Clinical Ops to align workflows with payer requirements and business goals.
• Support provider training, macro updates, and compliance education efforts.

What You’ll Do 

The Manager, Revenue Cycle Operations will work across teams to align claims processes, ensure clean claim performance, and drive operational efficiency with a mindset rooted in accountability, problem-solving, and excellence. You will:

Operational Excellence & Claims Performance 

• Lead end-to-end billing and coding operations across fee-for-service, capitation, and hybrid payment models. 

• Monitor daily claims workflows, denials, and claim edits to ensure clean, compliant submissions across all states and payers. 

• Ensure provider documentation aligns with encounter-level billing requirements, especially for virtual and episodic care models. 

• Serves as point of escalation for high-impact payer denials, coding discrepancies, and claim rejections requiring cross-department coordination. 

KPI Management & Strategy Support 

• Track core RCM KPIs (e.g., clean claim rate, AR days, denial rate, chart lag, encounter reconciliation) and surface insights to leadership. 

• Partner with analytics to develop dashboards that inform real-time decisions and revenue forecasting. 

• Identify high-impact trends and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve performance, quality, and speed. 

Capitation & Value-Based Care Readiness 

• Ensure appropriate coding and encounter reconciliation processes under capitation and full-risk agreements. 

• Support quality measure capture (e.g., HEDIS), risk adjustment coding, and care coordination billing opportunities. 

• Collaborate with medical, product, and operations teams to align payment integrity with clinical outcomes and contract goals. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Expansion Support 

• Partner with Credentialing, Implementation, Clinical Ops, and Compliance to ensure state and payer readiness. 

• Lead market expansion readiness efforts, including taxonomy mapping, EFT/ERA setup, clearinghouse configuration, and payer portal access. 

• Co-lead provider onboarding sessions and internal training on documentation, coding, and encounter submission workflows. 

Team Leadership & Development 

• Directly manage billing and coding staff; establish shift structures, review cycles, and career development plans. 

• Promote accountability through performance metrics, SOP adherence, and real-time coaching. 

• Build a team culture focused on curiosity, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

• Manages a hybrid team of billing specialists, coders, and RCM coordinators, including oversight of offshore or vendor-supported teams.

• Own RCM SOPs and escalation paths; identify bottlenecks and build workflows that scale. 

• Drive adoption of RCM best practices across documentation, coding logic, claim edits, and payer-specific processes. 

• Lead clean-up projects and ensure audit-readiness across billing and coding operations. 

• Serves as the primary liaison between Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and Payer Strategy leadership to ensure consistency in reporting, escalation management, and issue resolution. 

• Collaborates with the QA/RCM Specialist to review audit findings, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that strengthen process integrity 

• Prepares and presents weekly/monthly RCM performance reports and root cause analyses to the Director and senior leadership team. 

Technology & System Optimization 

• Collaborates with Product and IT to optimize EHR, clearinghouse, and automation tools (e.g., claim scrubber rules, payer enrollment logic, dashboard integrations). 

• Identifies opportunities for automation and process digitization to reduce manual interventions. 

Compliance & Audit Readiness 

• Ensures organizational compliance with CMS, OIG, and payer audit standards. 

• Maintains audit-ready documentation, including SOPs, coding protocols, and payer correspondence. 

•  Partner with QA/RCM specialist to interpret audit data, trend findings, and implement sustainable improvements. 

• Ensure audit feedback loops are integrated into team workflows, dashboards, and SOP updates. 

• Collaborate on quarterly performance and compliance reviews to drive transparency and accountability.

• 8+ years of progressive revenue cycle experience, including 5+ years in leadership or strategic operations roles with direct accountability for results (clean claim rate, AR, denials, payer yield).
• Proven success building or turning around RCM operations in a multi-state or multi-payer environment.
• Strong command of payer policy interpretation, provider enrollment workflows, and payer portal management for both Medicaid and commercial lines of business.
• Hands-on experience with capitated and value-based payment models, encounter reconciliation, and HEDIS/quality measure integration.
• Advanced Athenahealth expertise (or similar enterprise EHR) with a demonstrated ability to optimize claim scrub rules, taxonomy mapping, and automation logic.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or process optimization background is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of pediatric, primary care, or behavioral health coding and documentation standards preferred.
• Certified Professional Coder (AAPC or AHIMA) required; additional certifications (CPPM, CPCO, or CHFP) preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and claims analytics tools; able to extract and translate data into operational insights.

The SVP of Behavioral Health is a senior clinical and operational leader responsible for building, scaling, and leading an integrated behavioral health strategy for pediatric populations with complex medical, behavioral, and social needs, many of whom are covered by Medicaid. 

This role requires a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with deep experience serving high acuity, underserved populations and operating in value‑based or risk bearing environments. 

The SVP partners closely with the Chief Medical Officer and executive leadership to design and operationalize care models that improve access, advance health equity, and drive measurable outcomes, including reductions in avoidable emergency department use, inpatient admissions, and total cost of care. In this role you will: 

Behavioral Health Strategy and Clinical Leadership 

• Define and execute the pediatric behavioral health strategy aligned with Medicaid and value‑based contracts 
• Build and scale integrated services across the full spectrum of behavioral health needs, including serious mental illness and neurodevelopmental disorders

What You’ll Do

As an Acute Care Pediatrician with Imagine Pediatrics, you will provide full-time virtual acute care services to Imagine Pediatrics patients and their caregivers as part of our innovative care model. You will help us in meeting patients where they are by providing care virtually, responding to inbound acute and perceived acute care needs, and triaging decisions to dispatch our mobile field team of allied health personnel to initiate blended virtual and in-home urgent care visits. You will:

• Manage provider relationships and drive engagement within your assigned territory or specific market and/or focus on a specialized population.
• Execute strategic initiatives, including supporting providers, coordinating events, and addressing day-to-day operational needs and decisions.

What You'll Do

The primary location for this role is remote in Newark, NJ but will entail frequent (up to 50%) travel throughout the state. Specific responsibilities include: 

• Conduct thorough research on attributed patients to better understand their healthcare needs and utilization, uncover potential challenges or barriers to enrollment, and identify thoughtful ways to reach caregivers. 
• Perform telephonic outreach to the caregivers of attributed patients with the goal of enrolling their child in care and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. 
• Perform telephonic outreach to other healthcare professionals that may be engaging with our attributed patients and their caregivers. This could include durable medical equipment (DME) companies, home health organizations, pharmacies, pediatricians, and more. 
• Leverage relationships with other healthcare professionals to help support re-engagement of enrolled patients.

Strategic Finance

• Build and maintain long-range 3-statement financial forecast models, scenario analyses, and valuation frameworks to support strategic decisions, growth initiatives, and capital allocation.

As a Pediatric Home Care Specialist & Acute Care Registered Nurse with Imagine Pediatrics, you will serve as the clinical bridge between the home and virtual care environments, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and families with medical complexity. Your primary focus will be providing in-home and community-based care, while flexing into our acute care registered nurse role to support virtual nursing and urgent needs when needed. 

In this role you will: 

• Travel to members’ homes or community settings to deliver episodic, longitudinal, and urgent care support.

What You’ll Do 

As a Staff Data Engineer at Imagine Pediatrics, you will be the first dedicated Data Engineer on a hybrid team with Analytics Engineers, responsible for defining how data moves through our platform and owning the data pipelines that power clinical analytics, operational reporting, and external integrations. 

You will ensure that data ingestion and integration decisions are made with a clear understanding of downstream analytical usage, including how data freshness, grain, and structure impact downstream processes and systems. You will partner closely with Analytics Engineers, Product Engineers and Platform Engineers to deliver a platform built for a high-growth, mission-driven healthcare organization. This role requires strong technical depth in data engineering, comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces, and the ability to influence across engineering and product teams. 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines that ingest data from clinical systems, APIs, and third-party integrations utilizing webhook-based, API-based, and CDC (change data capture) approaches. 

• Architect and manage event-driven data pipelines in AWS — including cross-account configurations and dead-letter queue handling. 

• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code to deploy and manage data ingestion workloads, primarily extending existing modules and patterns. 

• Orchestrate pipeline execution and monitoring using Dagster, ensuring observability and reliability across all workflows. 

• Implement data quality checks, alerting, and lineage tracking across the pipeline. 

• Identify and eliminate systemic failure modes in pipelines, improving reliability through long-term fixes rather than repeated incident remediation.
