What You’ll Do
As Manager, Acute Care Operations you will be the frontline leader responsible for the daily performance, readiness, and development of the Acute Care Operations Assistants (ACOA) and Advanced ACOA II team. Our Acute Care Operations Team supports our interdisciplinary team of MDs, APPs, RNs, and Pediatric Home Care Specialists that serve our children and their families. You are the operational anchor for this team ensuring that dispatch, scheduling, care coordination, and communication platforms and workflows operate reliably and consistently to support our clinicians and families.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Provide daily leadership, coaching, and oversight to ACOA and ACOA II team members.
- Lead ongoing performance management, including regular feedback, coaching and participation in formal review cycles.
- Provide timely, consistent coaching and partner with People Operations on corrective action when performance, conduct, or adherence to SOPs does not meet expectations.
- Monitor workload distribution, dispatch accuracy, and adherence to SOPs.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance check-ins, and competency assessments.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex scheduling, dispatch, or communication issues.
- Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Operational Oversight & Workflow Reliability
- Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of Pediatric Home Care Specialists (HCS) and MIH partners, including safety monitoring through Axle and/or other applications.
- Oversee scheduling workflows, including visit coordination, provider/HCS chat setup, and dispatching accuracy.
- Maintain high-quality documentation standards across Athena, CareHub, Axle, and other systems.
- Ensure eligibility checks, insurance verification, and record-sharing workflows are completed consistently.
- Monitor EHR inboxes and ensure timely provider support.
Quality, Training & Readiness
- Serve as the operational owner for ACOA/ACOA II training, onboarding, and cross-training.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new procedures and ensure team adoption.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to refine SOPs, workflows, and dispatch protocols.
- Audit documentation, scheduling accuracy, and communication logs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Acute Care clinicians, triage teams, intake, behavioral health, and MIH partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in interdisciplinary huddles to support patient engagement, progress monitoring, and barrier identification.
- Serve as the operational liaison for committees, initiatives, and special projects within Imagine Pediatrics.
Service Excellence & Family Experience
- Ensure timely, compassionate, and professional communication with families, agencies, and referral partners.
- Support appointment adherence strategies, including reminder workflows and follow-up coordination.

What You Bring & How You Qualify
- Minimum 3–4 years experience in healthcare operations, dispatch, care coordination, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year in a senior acute care operations role or equivalent frontline leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise with EHR systems, Microsoft Suite, and multi-system navigation.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience training, mentoring, or precepting staff.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Experience in pediatric, acute care, or MIH/dispatch environments, prefered.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.
- Experience with Athena, Axle, CareHub, NotifyMD, or similar platforms.
- Prior experience in a startup or rapidly evolving healthcare environment prefered.
- Full-time role with core hours aligned to Acute Care operations.
- Flexibility required for occasional after-hours escalations or operational needs.

The role offers a base salary range of $78,000 - $100,000, in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). The schedule is expected to be Monday – Friday 10am - 6pm local time with flexibility based on member needs, visit locations, and virtual acute care support. Active TN licensure required.
What You’ll Do
As a Pediatric Home Care Specialist & Acute Care Registered Nurse, you serve as the clinical bridge between home‑based care and virtual acute care. You will deliver high‑quality, family‑centered care in the home and community while flexing into virtual acute care nursing to support urgent pediatric needs.
In this role you will:
- Travel to members’ homes and community settings to deliver episodic, longitudinal, and urgent pediatric care.
- Build trusted, compassionate relationships with children and families, ensuring coordinated, culturally responsive care.
- Collaborate within an integrated care team including physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, navigators, social workers, and therapists.
- Conduct and document in‑home assessments; perform procedures such as ear irrigation, point‑of‑care testing, IV placement and lab draws, wound care, and medication administration.
- Provide patient and family education, follow‑up care, and care coordination using the Imagine Pediatrics platform.
- Flex into the virtual acute care RN role to conduct virtual assessments and manage urgent pediatric needs using established protocols.
- Document care in the EMR (Athena) and communicate with families through Imagine Pediatrics’ proprietary application.
- Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools confidently to support care delivery.

- PALS & BLS required

- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of pediatric nursing experience, ideally including high‑acuity settings (ED, urgent care, transport, or similar).
- 1–2 years in pediatric emergency medicine experience.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and good driving record.
- Comfort driving long distances in varied weather conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently in the home environment.
- Comfort with EMRs, virtual platforms, and mobile documentation tools.

The schedule requirements for this role is Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm local time.
What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Home Care Specialist (Paramedic Certified) with Imagine Pediatrics, you will in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, facilitate in home delivery of episodic and longitudinal care. You leverage an integrated technology platform and are complimented by an entire interdisciplinary team including APPs, registered nurses, navigators, pharmacists, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists. You will:
- Travel to members’ homes, or wherever in the community our members are, in response to requests for acute and episodic medical, behavioral, and social needs.
- Work closely as a member of an integrated care team to provide high-quality, compassionate, and skilled care to our pediatric members and their families.
- Assist, in collaboration with other members of the integrated care team, with urgent needs for our members. Provide therapeutic intervention under the direct guidance of a physician.
- Assist in the engagement and onboarding of new members by helping conduct and facilitate clinical intake visits.
- Engage with members recently discharged from inpatient admission or recently seen in the Emergency Department to prevent readmission, and identify and solve root causes of readmission.
What You Bring & How You Qualify
First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:
- EMT-Paramedic with active license in the state of Florida, and/or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT)
- PALS, ACLS, and BLS required
- 3+ years of field clinical experience. Nice to have: experience with pediatric patients and/or non-traditional Paramedic roles such as: critical care, primary care, tele-health, community paramedicine, mobile integrated healthcare, emergency room, or value-based care delivery.
- Driver’s license and good driving record, along with reliable transportation.
- Strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and effective collaboration.
- Experience and ability to identify opportunities to build trust through delivering clinical and social impact for every member.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
- Experience and ability to use and navigate multiple technology platforms in care delivery.
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred

The primary location for this role is remote with travel to patient homes in and around the Washington, DC area. The schedule is expected to be Monday – Friday 10am - 6pm local time. Active DC licensure required.
What You’ll Do
As a Pediatric Home Care Specialist & Acute Care Registered Nurse with Imagine Pediatrics, you will serve as the clinical bridge between the home and virtual care environments, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and families with medical complexity. Your primary focus will be providing in-home and community-based care, while flexing into our acute care registered nurse role to support virtual nursing and urgent needs when needed.
In this role you will:
- Travel to members’ homes or community settings to deliver episodic, longitudinal, and urgent care support.
- Build trusted relationships with patients and families, ensuring compassionate, coordinated care.
- Collaborate as part of an integrated care team including physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, navigators, social workers, and therapists to provide seamless support across medical, behavioral, and social needs.
- Conduct and document in-home assessments, perform procedures (ear irrigation, point of care testing, IVs and lab draws, wound care, medication administration), provide patient and family education and follow-up care using the Imagine Pediatrics care platform.
- Perform as an acute care registered nurse a few days per week to conduct virtual nursing, patient assessments, and manage urgent pediatric needs using established protocols.
- Conduct documentation in the electronic medical records (Athena) and utilize the Imagine Pediatrics proprietary application to communicate with families.
What You Bring & How You Qualify
First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and support they deserve.
- Active DC RN license required, and compact license preferred.
- Current residence in the DC metro area
- PALS & BLS required
- EMS (EMT/P) experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required.
- Minimum 4+ years of pediatric nursing experience
- 1–2 years in pediatric emergency medicine experience.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and good driving record.

The role offers a base hourly range of $44/hr - $48/hr in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
