The Portable Radio Program is seeking a qualified CM/ILS SME who brings extensive experience in defense life-cycle logistics and configuration management for complex electronic and C4ISR systems. Qualifications

Experience shall include at least six (6) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. 
• Experience supervising Logistics Specialists. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
• Individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Advanced/Level 3; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional three (3) years (i.e., total 13 years minimum experience with a Master’s or 17 years with a Bachelor’s degree) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

When CANES changed in the fleet, were you responsible for ensuring your Sailors were trained to the new standard? DLH is seeking a Technical Instructor / Course Developer to support CANES and C4I modernization efforts focused on updating and developing curriculum aligned to the latest fleet baseline.

This position is primarily focused on curriculum development. You will review system updates, configuration changes, and fleet requirements, then build and refine training products that accurately reflect current CANES capabilities. Your work will directly impact fleet readiness by ensuring Sailors are trained to the operational standard required across today’s Navy.

Classroom and hands-on instruction will be required, but the core mission is disciplined course development using Navy authoring tools and structured training processes. Success requires strong shipboard network expertise, attention to configuration detail, and the ability to translate real-world system administration experience into effective training.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates and configuration changes to ensure the curriculum aligns with the latest CANES fleet baseline.

The Configuration Management Specialist shall be responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. The individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. The individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

Responsibilities

A Quality Control Specialist 4 conducts advanced diagnostics and repairs on Depot Level Repairables, supports resolution of Fleet CASREPs, and troubleshoots U.S. Navy electronics down to the component level. They help maintain repair parts inventory, develop and update testing methods and work instructions, document parts and labor, and perform cost‑effectiveness analyses on returned materials to ensure optimal fleet readiness.

• ‎Provide technical evaluations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of Depot Level Repairables (DLR)
• Provide technical support to resolve Fleet Casualty Reports (CASREP’s)
• Assist with maintaining and updating Bench Stock Repair Parts
