Your Mission
As a Model Trains Expert, your mission is to bring your specialist model trains expertise to the curation of high-quality, compelling auctions that attract engaged collectors and trusted sellers. Your knowledge of brands, rarity, condition, valuation, and collector expectations is central to ensuring each lot is relevant, accurately assessed, and commercially strong.
By combining deep category expertise with sound commercial judgement, you play a key role in growing the Model Trains category, maintaining transparency, and strengthening trust within the collector community.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and arrange model train lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings
- Create compelling weekly lot selections using your expertise and professional network
- Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values
- Safeguard transparent and fair transactions through consistent expert evaluation
- Communicate rejections professionally and diplomatically, maintaining strong seller relationships
- Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots
- Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions

Your Mission
As a Model Cars Expert, you are first and foremost a specialist within the model car collector community. Whether your background is as a collector, dealer, restorer, auction specialist, or serious hobbyist, you bring deep hands-on knowledge of model cars, including brands, scales, rarity, condition, authenticity, and collector demand.
You will curate high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. Your expertise ensures each lot, whether vintage or recent, is relevant, accurately valued, and aligned with collector expectations. We are specifically looking for someone with strong subject-matter expertise in model cars who can use their market knowledge to assess value and build attractive auctions for collectors.

Your Mission
Drive the growth of Catawiki’s Art category in Italy by acquiring and developing high-quality sellers. You take full ownership of building and scaling the Italian seller base, directly impacting GMV and market expansion. Act as the commercial lead for the Italian Art market, shaping strategy, building partnerships, and delivering measurable business outcomes through strong deal execution and market insight.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and prioritise high-potential galleries, dealers, and artists across Italy to build a strong seller pipeline
- Build and manage an outbound pipeline through cold outreach, email campaigns, and in-person meetings
- Convert inbound and outbound opportunities into long-term, high-quality seller partnerships
- Use data and performance insights to prioritise prospects and improve conversion rates
- Own forecasting and revenue reporting for the Italian Art market
- Collaborate with Art Experts to optimise lot strategy, positioning, and seller performance
- Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including auctions and incentive models
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience acquiring new strategic accounts and building pipelines from scratch
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development with ownership of revenue targets and KPIs
- Native Italian and fluent English, plus proficiency in at least one additional European language
- Experience in digital marketplaces or fast-scaling environments

Your Mission
As a Senior Key Account Manager Wine, you own a portfolio of strategic, high value wine sellers and are accountable for driving profitable growth, retention and long term value creation.
You act as a trusted commercial partner to your sellers, combining market expertise, data driven insights and strong business judgement to define and execute growth strategies. You challenge sellers on pricing, quality and strategy using data and market insight.
Beyond managing accounts, you define portfolio strategy, influence category direction, and contribute to the continuous improvement of how we operate and grow the Wine category.
What you’ll do
- Strategic account management: You define and execute long term account strategies for your portfolio, prioritising efforts based on value and growth potential. You build strong partnerships with key sellers and lead regular business reviews, translating insights into clear actions that drive performance, retention and quality.
- Commercial ownership and growth: You take full ownership of your portfolio performance, managing key KPIs such as GMV, sell rate, hammer price vs estimate and bidding activity. You identify growth opportunities, develop business cases and lead commercial initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
- Data driven decision making: Ability to analyse seller level auction data and translate into actionable growth strategies. You use data to evaluate performance, proactively identify declining performance and intervene with corrective strategics, and forecast future growth. What you’ll bring
- Senior account management experience: You actively prioritise your portfolio based on value, growth potential and risk, ensuring effective allocation of time and resources. You are comfortable operating autonomously and making strategic decisions in a dynamic environment. You are comfortable operating in a scaling environment with evolving processes and take initiative without full structure.

About the role and team
As a Classic Home Decor Expert in the Classic Interiors team, you will be closely involved with evaluating and arranging lots submitted by our users. Collaborating with other experts and using your own knowledge from all over the globe, you will be responsible for creating attractive auctions every week. Catawiki strives to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard; you know better than anyone what items are of interest to our users.
You will review lot titles, descriptions, lot pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. Your efforts result in exceptional auctions that bidders will find irresistible.
Aside from evaluating lots submitted by our users and compiling auctions together with your colleagues, you are also responsible together with the sales team for developing the seller base of the decorative object auctions. You will proactively review seller segments, assist team members in onboarding high-potential leads and upselling existing sellers, making use of your extensive network of potential sellers, buyers, and experts.
Who you are
- You have a generalist knowledge of decorative interior objects and enjoy working with a broad variety of objects - anything from lamps to candle sticks; mirrors to tapestries, and boxes to bookends and so much more; it is a plus if you also have knowledge of antique religious items;
- You have a special place in your heart for pre-owned vintage and antique objects, and know what repairs and restorations look like, and you know how to judge the age of an object;
- You know your materials: woods, metals, silvers, etc;
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to work under pressure;
- You have an interest in developing a network of dealers/buyers;
- Some documented commercial experience such as price negotiations, setting up commercial seller agreements, actively sourcing new business and leads is preferred but not necessary;
- You are a natural team player and thrive in a diverse team environment;
- Excellent English communication;
- Great computer skills necessary;
- An affinity for numbers and analyzing auction results is a plus!

About the role and team
As a Decorative Objects Expert within our Interiors team, you will play a key role in expanding and strengthening our Home Decor category.
This role goes beyond expertise alone, it is equally about driving commercial growth. You combine market knowledge of decorative objects with a sharp commercial mindset, understanding what makes an object desirable, collectible, and auction-worthy, and how to translate that into compelling, high-performing auctions.
Your expertise spans categories such as ceramics, glass, sculptures, interior accessories, and collectible decorative pieces, and you are able to assess both their aesthetic and market value.
Your responsibilities
- Evaluate and curate decorative object submissions from sellers across Europe
- Assess condition, provenance, authenticity, and market relevance
- Create weekly curated auctions that are both editorially strong and commercially successful
- Provide professional and constructive feedback when submissions are not suitable for auction
Growing the category
Beyond curation, you will actively contribute to building and expanding the Decorative Objects category.
You will proactively identify new supply opportunities, emerging trends, and collectible design segments within Home Decor. Working closely with our Sales team, you will help attract high-potential sellers, onboard new supply sources, and strategically grow the decorative objects portfolio.
You understand that sustainable growth comes from the right balance between quality and volume, and you know how to curate auctions that deliver both.

You will review lot titles, descriptions, lot pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. Your efforts result in exceptional auctions that bidders will find irresistible.
You bring strong expertise in rugs (Oriental, Persian, Kilims, Silk, North African) and a commercial mindset to grow the Machine-Made Rugs segment. You understand what makes a piece desirable, collectible, and suitable for auction, and can translate that knowledge into compelling, high-performing auctions.
But beyond curation, you will actively build the category.
You will proactively identify new types of supply and emerging trends within the market. You will collaborate closely with Sales to attract high-potential sellers, onboard new supply sources, and strategically grow the Rugs portfolio. You understand that growth comes from both quality and volume, and you know how to balance both.
Who you are
- You have expertise in hand-knotted rugs, including Oriental and Persian carpets, silk rugs, and Kelims.
- You can confidently assess authenticity, age, condition, restorations, and material quality.
- You are comfortable valuing objects and determining realistic market prices based on images and limited information, supported by your understanding of auction performance and demand.
- You have commercial experience, such as price negotiations, establishing seller agreements, and actively sourcing new sellers or business leads (preferred).
- You are a natural team player who thrives in a diverse and international team environment.

About the role
As a Tableware, Ceramics & Glass Expert within the Interiors team, you will play a key role in assessing and curating lots submitted by our users. Drawing on your in-depth knowledge of a variety of brands and regions, such as Meissen, Richard Ginori, Villeroy & Boch, and Baccarat, you will be responsible for building engaging and high-quality auctions on a weekly basis.
At Catawiki, transparency and fairness are central to the user experience, and your expertise is essential in upholding these standards. You have a strong understanding of what appeals to our audience and will use this insight to review lot titles, descriptions, and images, as well as provide accurate value estimates. When submissions do not meet our criteria, you communicate rejections clearly, professionally, and respectfully.
This role extends beyond expertise; it also requires a strong commercial focus, where you will actively contribute to building and expanding the category. You will proactively identify new supply opportunities, emerging trends, and collectible design segments within Home Decor.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with the sales team, proactively analyzing seller segments, supporting the onboarding of high-potential sellers, and identifying upselling opportunities within the existing seller base. Leveraging your network of sellers, buyers, and fellow experts, you contribute directly to the growth and success of the category.

As an Expert Bullion, you will accelerate the growth of the Bullion segment by curating high-performing auctions and shaping the strategic direction of this fast-growing category. You will combine deep market expertise, commercial acumen, and a strong industry network to drive revenue, strengthen supply, and position the Modern Coins and Bullion offer for sustained growth.
What You’ll Do

Your Mission
What You’ll Do
- As a Catawiki expert, you will use your specialist knowledge, to be responsible for creating attractive auctions by evaluating and arranging lots submitted by our sellers.
- Balanced with your knowledge and experience of the trade, you will review the lot titles, descriptions, pictures, and provide users with an estimated and realistic value based on this information.
- One of our main focuses is to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard. We pride ourselves on being a unique, interactive platform so a professional, polite and courteous approach with our sellers is an absolutely essential attribute. - To keep your own auctions attracting bidders, you will be regularly working with our sales department, to recruit and develop new sellers and diversify the selection of lots offered in your auctions.
- Finally, you’ll also be working together with our marketing department to generate an increase of potential bidder attention at your auction.
What You'll Bring
- A Gemmology Diploma from one of the schools recognised by the FEEG or GIA;
- 5–10 years’ experience in the jewellery, diamonds or precious stones trade with knowledge of the market and the ability to perform gemmological and authentication tests;
- Project management capabilities, with proven experience partnering closely with other cross-functional teams to drive complex initiatives;
- Good grasp of market prices and understanding of jewellery second-hand market and B2B and B2C jewellery market dynamics;
- Experience in appraising and assessing jewellery;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
- Extensive trade knowledge with a network of potential sellers and experts in your field;
- A real team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Proficiency in computer tools used for data analysis, reporting and presentations For example Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides;
- The diplomatic competence needed to act as a mediator in disputes between users;
- Fluent English language skills; Italian is a plus.
