Your Mission
As a Model Trains Expert, your mission is to bring your specialist model trains expertise to the curation of high-quality, compelling auctions that attract engaged collectors and trusted sellers. Your knowledge of brands, rarity, condition, valuation, and collector expectations is central to ensuring each lot is relevant, accurately assessed, and commercially strong.
By combining deep category expertise with sound commercial judgement, you play a key role in growing the Model Trains category, maintaining transparency, and strengthening trust within the collector community.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and arrange model train lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings
- Create compelling weekly lot selections using your expertise and professional network
- Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values
- Safeguard transparent and fair transactions through consistent expert evaluation
- Communicate rejections professionally and diplomatically, maintaining strong seller relationships
- Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots
- Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions

Your Mission
As a Model Cars Expert, you are first and foremost a specialist within the model car collector community. Whether your background is as a collector, dealer, restorer, auction specialist, or serious hobbyist, you bring deep hands-on knowledge of model cars, including brands, scales, rarity, condition, authenticity, and collector demand.
You will curate high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. Your expertise ensures each lot, whether vintage or recent, is relevant, accurately valued, and aligned with collector expectations. We are specifically looking for someone with strong subject-matter expertise in model cars who can use their market knowledge to assess value and build attractive auctions for collectors.

Your Mission
As a Senior Key Account Manager Wine, you own a portfolio of strategic, high value wine sellers and are accountable for driving profitable growth, retention and long term value creation.
You act as a trusted commercial partner to your sellers, combining market expertise, data driven insights and strong business judgement to define and execute growth strategies. You challenge sellers on pricing, quality and strategy using data and market insight.
Beyond managing accounts, you define portfolio strategy, influence category direction, and contribute to the continuous improvement of how we operate and grow the Wine category.
What you’ll do
- Strategic account management: You define and execute long term account strategies for your portfolio, prioritising efforts based on value and growth potential. You build strong partnerships with key sellers and lead regular business reviews, translating insights into clear actions that drive performance, retention and quality.
- Commercial ownership and growth: You take full ownership of your portfolio performance, managing key KPIs such as GMV, sell rate, hammer price vs estimate and bidding activity. You identify growth opportunities, develop business cases and lead commercial initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
- Data driven decision making: Ability to analyse seller level auction data and translate into actionable growth strategies. You use data to evaluate performance, proactively identify declining performance and intervene with corrective strategics, and forecast future growth. You translate complex data into clear insights and actionable strategies, balancing short term performance with long term value creation.
- Stakeholder management and influence: You collaborate closely with Category Managers, Experts and Business Developers, influencing decisions and aligning stakeholders around key opportunities. You navigate complex situations and ensure cross functional alignment to drive category growth.
- Market and category development: You maintain a strong understanding of the wine market and proactively identify trends, opportunities and risks. What you’ll bring
- Senior account management experience: You actively prioritise your portfolio based on value, growth potential and risk, ensuring effective allocation of time and resources. You are comfortable operating autonomously and making strategic decisions in a dynamic environment. You are comfortable operating in a scaling environment with evolving processes and take initiative without full structure.
- Commercial and analytical strength: You have a deep understanding of commercial drivers and financial KPIs, and you use data to guide decisions, build forecasts and prioritise effectively across your portfolio.

About the role and team
As a Classic Home Decor Expert in the Classic Interiors team, you will be closely involved with evaluating and arranging lots submitted by our users. Collaborating with other experts and using your own knowledge from all over the globe, you will be responsible for creating attractive auctions every week. Catawiki strives to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard; you know better than anyone what items are of interest to our users.
You will review lot titles, descriptions, lot pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. Your efforts result in exceptional auctions that bidders will find irresistible.
Aside from evaluating lots submitted by our users and compiling auctions together with your colleagues, you are also responsible together with the sales team for developing the seller base of the decorative object auctions. You will proactively review seller segments, assist team members in onboarding high-potential leads and upselling existing sellers, making use of your extensive network of potential sellers, buyers, and experts.
Who you are
- You have a generalist knowledge of decorative interior objects and enjoy working with a broad variety of objects - anything from lamps to candle sticks; mirrors to tapestries, and boxes to bookends and so much more; it is a plus if you also have knowledge of antique religious items;
- You have a special place in your heart for pre-owned vintage and antique objects, and know what repairs and restorations look like, and you know how to judge the age of an object;
- You know your materials: woods, metals, silvers, etc;
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to work under pressure;
- You have an interest in developing a network of dealers/buyers;
- Some documented commercial experience such as price negotiations, setting up commercial seller agreements, actively sourcing new business and leads is preferred but not necessary;
- You are a natural team player and thrive in a diverse team environment;
- Excellent English communication;
- Great computer skills necessary;
- An affinity for numbers and analyzing auction results is a plus!

Your Mission
As Key Account Manager for the DACH region, you drive the acquisition and growth of strategic art sellers, with a focus on Germany. You lead commercial discussions with galleries, dealers and artists, structure high-value deals and build long-term partnerships that strengthen Catawiki’s position in a key European art market. Your impact is measured by GMV growth, deal quality and the strength of the seller portfolio you build and manage.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic art sellers across Germany and the wider DACH region, with clear mid- and long-term GMV and quality targets
- Identify and convert high-value prospects through market mapping, AI-supported data matching, outbound outreach, in-person meetings and presence at fairs and events
- Manage pipeline and forecasting, prioritising high-impact opportunities and reporting expected revenue and conversion
- Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including single-seller auctions and incentive models
- Collaborate closely with Art Experts to align on sourcing strategy, lot selection and seller development
- Use CRM, data and AI tools to guide commercial decisions and optimise performance
What You’ll Bring
- Fluency in German and English
- 2-5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management with revenue targets and KPI ownership
- Proven track record of growing GMV, acquiring strategic sellers and driving outbound business development
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence closing complex commercial deals with senior stakeholders
- Strategic and autonomous working style, with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Data literacy and ability to translate performance metrics into concrete commercial actions
- Experience with CRM and data tools such as HubSpot, Looker Studio, Google Workspace and AI tools, based in a major German city and willing to travel across Europe

Your Mission
As Sales Representative for the DACH region, you drive the acquisition and growth of strategic art sellers, with a focus on Germany. You lead commercial discussions with galleries, dealers and artists, structure high-value deals and build long-term partnerships that strengthen Catawiki’s position in a key European art market. Your impact is measured by GMV growth, deal quality and the strength of the seller portfolio you build and manage.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic art sellers across Germany and the wider DACH region, with clear mid- and long-term GMV and quality targets
- Identify and convert high-value prospects through market mapping, AI-supported data matching, outbound outreach, in-person meetings and presence at fairs and events
- Manage pipeline and forecasting, prioritising high-impact opportunities and reporting expected revenue and conversion
- Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including single-seller auctions and incentive models
- Collaborate closely with Art Experts to align on sourcing strategy, lot selection and seller development
- Use CRM, data and AI tools to guide commercial decisions and optimise performance
What You’ll Bring
- Fluency in German and English
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management with revenue targets and KPI ownership
- Proven track record of growing GMV, acquiring strategic sellers and driving outbound business development
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence closing complex commercial deals with senior stakeholders
- Strategic and autonomous working style, with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Data literacy and ability to translate performance metrics into concrete commercial actions
- Experience with CRM and data tools such as HubSpot, Looker Studio, Google Workspace and AI tools, based in a major German city and willing to travel across Europe

Your Mission
Drive the growth and quality of Catawiki’s German, Austrian and Swiss Classical and Modern Art category by sourcing, evaluating and curating artworks across key historical periods and movements. You ensure a strong, commercially viable pipeline of lots, combining deep art-historical expertise with market insight. You contribute directly to category performance by building supply, strengthening seller relationships and delivering high-quality curation that meets both collector expectations and market demand.
What You’ll Do
- Source, evaluate and curate artworks across German, Austrian and Swiss Classical and Modern Art, ensuring a strong and relevant auction pipeline
- Assess a high volume of submissions with varying value, maintaining consistent quality and accuracy in selection decisions
- Write expert lot descriptions, set estimates and recommend reserve prices aligned with current market conditions
- Build and convert a pipeline of sellers by visiting prospects, running meetings and providing clear commercial guidance
- Partner with Account Managers to design and deliver single-seller auctions and execute seller growth strategies
- Represent Catawiki at fairs and industry events to strengthen market presence and secure high-quality consignments
- Develop and maintain relationships with galleries, dealers, collectors and institutions to drive consistent supply and category growth

About the role and team
As a Decorative Objects Expert within our Interiors team, you will play a key role in expanding and strengthening our Home Decor category.
This role goes beyond expertise alone, it is equally about driving commercial growth. You combine market knowledge of decorative objects with a sharp commercial mindset, understanding what makes an object desirable, collectible, and auction-worthy, and how to translate that into compelling, high-performing auctions.
Your expertise spans categories such as ceramics, glass, sculptures, interior accessories, and collectible decorative pieces, and you are able to assess both their aesthetic and market value.
Your responsibilities
- Evaluate and curate decorative object submissions from sellers across Europe
- Assess condition, provenance, authenticity, and market relevance
- Create weekly curated auctions that are both editorially strong and commercially successful
- Provide professional and constructive feedback when submissions are not suitable for auction
Growing the category
Beyond curation, you will actively contribute to building and expanding the Decorative Objects category.
You will proactively identify new supply opportunities, emerging trends, and collectible design segments within Home Decor. Working closely with our Sales team, you will help attract high-potential sellers, onboard new supply sources, and strategically grow the decorative objects portfolio.
You understand that sustainable growth comes from the right balance between quality and volume, and you know how to curate auctions that deliver both.

About the role and team
As an Expert Rugs in the Home Decor category team, you will be closely involved with evaluating and arranging lots submitted by our users. Collaborating with other experts and using your own knowledge from all over the globe, you will be responsible for creating attractive auctions every week. Catawiki strives to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard; you know better than anyone what items are of interest to our users.
You will review lot titles, descriptions, lot pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. Your efforts result in exceptional auctions that bidders will find irresistible.
You bring strong expertise in rugs (Oriental, Persian, Kilims, Silk, North African) and a commercial mindset to grow the Machine-Made Rugs segment. You understand what makes a piece desirable, collectible, and suitable for auction, and can translate that knowledge into compelling, high-performing auctions.
But beyond curation, you will actively build the category.
You will proactively identify new types of supply and emerging trends within the market. You will collaborate closely with Sales to attract high-potential sellers, onboard new supply sources, and strategically grow the Rugs portfolio. You understand that growth comes from both quality and volume, and you know how to balance both.
Who you are
- You have expertise in hand-knotted rugs, including Oriental and Persian carpets, silk rugs, and Kelims.

About the role
As a Tableware, Ceramics & Glass Expert within the Interiors team, you will play a key role in assessing and curating lots submitted by our users. Drawing on your in-depth knowledge of a variety of brands and regions, such as Meissen, Richard Ginori, Villeroy & Boch, and Baccarat, you will be responsible for building engaging and high-quality auctions on a weekly basis.
At Catawiki, transparency and fairness are central to the user experience, and your expertise is essential in upholding these standards. You have a strong understanding of what appeals to our audience and will use this insight to review lot titles, descriptions, and images, as well as provide accurate value estimates. As a Trading Cards Expert, you will grow Catawiki’s Trading Cards category across the European market. You will combine deep category expertise with a strong commercial mindset to expand supply, onboard sellers, and curate high-quality auctions that drive measurable results.
By leveraging your network and collaborating with local teams across Europe, you will strengthen Catawiki’s position within the European Trading Cards ecosystem.

Where You’ll Be
This role is a 100% remote role open to candidates based in Germany or the Netherlands, with close collaboration with local teams and daily interaction with colleagues across Europe.

Your Mission
As a Modern Coins Expert, you will accelerate the growth of the Modern Coins segment by curating high-performing auctions and shaping the strategic direction of this fast-growing category.
You will combine market expertise, commercial drive, and a strong industry network to strengthen supply, increase revenue, and position the category for sustained growth in a dynamic online marketplace.
What You’ll Do
- Curate, review, and validate submitted lots to ensure authenticity, quality, and commercial relevance
- Build and optimise weekly auctions aligned with release calendars, minting trends, and market demand
- Apply data insights to improve pricing, lot selection, conversion, and overall auction performance
- Identify growth segments, supply gaps, and emerging opportunities to shape the category roadmap
- Expand and activate a network of mints, distributors, wholesalers, designers, and collectors to secure strong supply
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to onboard high-potential sellers and support trend-driven campaigns
- Guide sellers in improving listing quality and presentation while managing feedback and disputes professionally
What You’ll Bring
- Strong expertise in modern coins, contemporary minting, and bullion innovations, with knowledge of release calendars, production methods, and grading trends
- Proven commercial experience buying and selling coins, ideally within wholesale or retail environments
- Entrepreneurial and trading mindset, with the ability to act quickly on market opportunities
- Active network including mints, authorised distributors, wholesalers, dealers, collectors, and modern coin creators
- Analytical skills and confidence using data to price lots, identify trends, and optimise performance
- Digital fluency and experience working within online marketplace environments
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills, with professionalism in stakeholder management
