As a privately held company operating under the stewardship of the second generation, our roots run deep. Our journey began when visionaries Andy and Clai Bachmann pioneered the development of light-curable adhesives, starting in their home in northwestern Connecticut. Over the years, Dymax has secured over 30 patents for revolutionary rapid light-curable materials and a complementary portfolio of precision dispensing and curing equipment. In 1990, Bomar was acquired to support global formulators with innovative oligomer product development. In 2018, the acquisition of Electronic Coating Technologies (ECT) added in-house application services to help customers protect electronics with comprehensive manufacturing, supply, and design solutions. Building on this legacy of innovation, ALEO was introduced in 2023, offering groundbreaking, integrated LED engineering equipment solutions.
