Salary range: An annual salary range of $160,000 - $180,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience.

What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the Managing Director in executing the Bank’s strategic plan for its Digital Assets business line. This role will help drive expanded product offerings, provide analytical support for both the business development as well as risk control framework. The role will work closely with the Client Success Manager and Relationship Managers, as well as across other businesses within the bank.
- Support the Managing Director in executing the Bank’s strategic plan for the Digital Assets business line.
- Monitor policies, controls, and risk framework for the Digital Asset Banking and Lending business, in coordination with the Client Success Manager and team.
- Build and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities to track business performance, portfolio trends, and operational KPIs across the Digital Assets business line.
- Support the planning and launch of new digital asset products and capabilities, including collateralized lending and ACH, partnering with Product, Technology, and Compliance on operational readiness.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, the Client Success Manager, and the Managing Director to support day-to-day execution of the business line and ad hoc leadership priorities.
- Serve as the primary contact for monthly business analysis, supporting the RMs, and ensuring fee revenue is delivered.
- Act as a subject matter expert on crypto-related assets, stablecoin, tokenization, and blockchain technology for business partners, new hires, and prospective clients.
- Serve as a client-facing resource as needed, supporting Business Development efforts and prospective client conversations alongside Relationship Managers.
- Support and help build out the credit function for digital-asset-related lending opportunities (e.g., BTC-collateralized and other potential lending opportunities), with growing ownership of underwriting and credit process development in partnership with Credit teams.
- Perform financial analysis to assess the profitability and risk of digital asset lending opportunities under varying market conditions.
- Maintain strong client and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure both client needs and internal compliance requirements are met.
What Do You Need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in banking operations, credit, or risk management, including direct experience supporting a Digital Asset Banking or Lending business line.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset market dynamics.
- Experience developing and implementing policies, controls, and risk frameworks for a regulated financial services business line.
- Strong track record partnering with 2nd and 3rd line risk, compliance, and audit functions to manage and remediate issues.
- Experience managing or supporting high-risk client onboarding in a regulated banking environment.
- Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills; experience with BTC-collateralized lending or crypto mining equipment financing a plus.
- Excellent executive-level reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships with Relationship Managers, Compliance, Credit, and Executive Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple stages of the digital asset banking lifecycle — credit analysis, portfolio/relationship management, and operations/risk.
- Prior experience leading discovery calls or due diligence with prospective banking clients as a digital asset subject matter expert.
- Experience managing or contributing to a multi-billion dollar client pipeline in a regulated banking environment.
- Background in portfolio analysis or investment management a plus.
Technology Skills:
- Ability to work with the Microsoft Suite and learn/work with other Customers Bank’s applications.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools that support productivity, workflow efficiency, and client engagement.
