Real Q is TP ICAP Group’s institutional credit trading and data proposition, bringing together Liquidnet Fixed Income and Neptune Networks under a single brand. Role Overview

Real Q is seeking a sales trader leader to join the US Real Q Fixed Income team.  The Sales Trader role focuses on providing high-quality execution support and day-to-day client coverage for institutional investors and sell side traders. The role facilitates trading activity, delivers market insight, and ensures a high standard of client service while driving engagement across the firm’s trading protocols.

The Sales Trader operates in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment and acts as a key link between clients, liquidity, and internal teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day trade execution and client trading requests
• Encourage participation and liquidity engagement across trading protocols
• Resolve trade issues, booking errors, and post-trade queries
• Provide client education on workflows, tools, and best practices
• Support onboarding and adoption of new products and enhancements
• Deepen the Real\Q relationships with existing clients.

Measures of Success

• Frequency of client activity and traded volume
• Behavior of clients (Q-score)
• Quality of liquidity available on the platform
• Low error rates

Experience / Competences

Essential

• 0-5 years of capital markets experience.
• Understanding of electronic fixed income trading.
• Proven ability to service clients and build relationships.
• Demonstrable use of AI tooling to improve productivity.
• Experience on a execution desk in sales-trader or other capacity.
• Familiarity with OMS, EMS, dealer connectivity, and trading workflow technology
• Deep commitment to client outcomes.
• Consistently brings the client perspective into strategic decision-making.
