We are hiring a Tournament Services Coordinator - Transport to join our Players, Tournaments & International Relations team and help deliver the Australian Open 2027. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from November 2026 to February 2027.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating the administration and day-to-day operations of the Australian Open Transport team.
• Supporting the Tournament Services Lead with planning and preparation activities for AO27.
• Managing staff rosters, including scheduling updates, shift changes, replacement staff requirements and workforce coverage.
• Monitoring rostering practices to minimise overtime, promote fatigue management and ensure operational efficiency.
• Supporting the Transport Operations team during the Australian Open, providing on-the-ground administrative assistance, feedback and coordination.
  
  

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have strong administrative experience and exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases and web-based applications.
• Possess excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Be able to build positive relationships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Remain calm and solutions-focused when working in a major events environment.
• Bring an understanding of transport operations within large-scale events; experience with rostering systems such as Rosterfy will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrate alignment with Tennis Australia's values of Imagination, Collaboration, Humility and Excellence.
• Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
