About the role:

You’ll work Monday to Thursday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, with additional Friday shifts from 11:00am to 4:00pm potentially available. No weekend work is required.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing customers, building rapport and engaging them in meaningful conversations.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and subscription options.
• Present promotions and newspaper subscription packages with confidence.
• Use effective sales techniques to overcome objections, close sales and achieve targets.
• Accurately record customer information and sales activity in our CRM system.

About you:

• A persuasive communicator with a friendly and professional phone manner.
• Confidence engaging with a wide range of people and building strong customer relationships.
• A positive attitude and openness to feedback, coaching, and ongoing learning.
• A motivated, result-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
• Reliable, organised, and excellent time management skills.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales or call centre is beneficial, but not essential.
