Conviva is seeking a Technical Recruiter for a contract engagement, on-site five days a week in our Foster City, CA office, to own full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering, AI/ML, and product roles. This is a recruiting-first role built for someone who partners closely with engineering leaders and brings demonstrated AI fluency to sourcing, screening, and closing technical talent.

What You Get to Do:

• Own full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering, AI/ML, and product roles, from intake through close. This is the core of the role.
• Reduce time-to-fill on hard-to-source, unique engineering profiles through sharper sourcing and stronger leader alignment.
• Build a real working relationship with the engineering leaders you support: understand their roadmap and hiring pressure well enough to anticipate needs, not just react to reqs.
• Build workflows and artifacts, including sourcing playbooks, candidate scorecards, and market maps, that change how Conviva sources and evaluates technical talent going forward.
• Build and document scalable recruiting processes, tools, and practices that create lasting value for the organization.

What You Bring to the Role:

• Demonstrated, specific use of AI tools to improve recruiting outcomes. Be ready to walk through a real example, not a general philosophy.
• Full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally including time at a seed-stage or small (sub-200 person) Silicon Valley technology company.
• A track record of closing engineering, AI/ML, or technical product candidates in competitive markets, including profiles that are genuinely hard to source.
• Experience building trust with hiring leaders as a strategic partner, not just an intake-and-execute recruiter, without losing recruiting speed.
• The confidence to take an existing approach and push past it rather than just execute it.
• Nice to have: experience recruiting for GTM (sales, partnerships) or G&A (finance, legal) functions.
• A genuine interest in being in the office and in the room. At Conviva, our best technical hiring decisions have come from in-person conversations.

The expected on-target earnings (OTE) range for this contract position is based on an annual salary of $120,000 to $175,000, based on a 70/30 compensation structure consisting of 70% base salary and 30% target commission. Commission is earned based on the achievement of pre-determined outcomes and milestones. Actual compensation within the stated range will be determined based on factors including qualifications, experience, relevant education, training, and job-related skills.
