Sobre esta vaga de Technical Owner - Fluid Components na The Exploration Company
Here at The Exploration Company, we are building innovative aerospace technologies that advance the future of space transportation.
As a Fluidic Components Technical Owner, you will own the technical follow-up of suppliers providing assigned Nyx Earth fluid-control equipment, including the technical baseline, evidence path, supplier development and qualification path, delivery readiness, integration support, and operations feedback loop.
You will work closely with propulsion system engineering, equipment owners, program management, procurement, quality, PA, supplier quality, AIT/MAIT, test, M&P, safety, operations, and suppliers or manufacturing partners providing the assigned components. The reporting line is to be confirmed by Propulsion leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Own the assigned fluidic-component technical baseline, including requirements, interfaces, verification methods, qualification logic, review data, and acceptance criteria.
Maintain a system-level view of fluidic, mechanical, thermal, electrical, command, cleanliness, materials-compatibility, safety, operations, and integration interfaces.
Follow supplier development, qualification, acceptance, integration, and operations-support logic for assigned valves, regulators, fill/drain equipment, pressure-control equipment, or related fluidic components.
Keep TEC's technical position clear when following suppliers, manufacturing partners, special processes, or test houses.
Review supplier deliverables, drawings where available, analyses, procedures, inspection evidence, test results, review packages, deviations, and non-conformance inputs.
Make leakage, response, cleanliness, compatibility, lifetime, production repeatability, evidence gaps, delivery risks, and recovery options visible early.
Support MAIT/AIT preparation, integration, test procedures, acceptance evidence, flight-operations preparation, flight-data review, and abnormal-behaviour treatment for assigned fluidic equipment.
What We Would Love To See From You
Strong aerospace, mechanical, propulsion, fluids, or related engineering background.
Experience with spacecraft propulsion fluidic components such as valves, regulators, fill/drain equipment, pressure-control equipment, or related fluid-control hardware.
Practical understanding of requirements, verification, cleanliness, materials compatibility, leakage, actuation, testing, qualification, manufacturing support, and failure modes.
Ability to own technical supplier follow-up for complex hardware across requirements, interfaces, qualification, delivery, integration, and anomaly support.
Strong communication with propulsion, procurement, quality, MAIT/AIT, test, program, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and operations stakeholders.
Fluency in English; French and/or German are useful assets.
Skills And Behaviours
You keep the technical position clear even when ownership, supplier evidence, schedule, or integration constraints are messy.
You judge component decisions by spacecraft, mission, safety, integration, cost, and schedule impact.
You make evidence gaps, assumptions, weak test results, open points, and deviations visible early.
You balance fast development with configuration, cleanliness, verification, and qualification discipline.
You build trust with suppliers, partners, engineers, and leadership through facts and follow-through.
