Job Description
The Future Operations Virtualization Systems Administrator will support the operation, maintenance, and modernization of infrastructure within a LAB/FUOPs environment. The primary focus of this position is administering VMware virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi 7 and 8 and vSphere/vCenter 8, running on a FlexPod infrastructure composed of NetApp ONTAP storage, Cisco Unified Computing System hardware, Cisco UCS Manager, and Broadcom/VMware hypervisors.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of virtualization principles beyond a specific vendor or product. Foundational knowledge of containerization and other infrastructure platforms is important so the administrator can support future technology transitions and platform modernization efforts. This position requires hands-on collaboration across virtualization, compute, storage, networking, Linux, and security disciplines.
