For more than 9 years, we have operated as a full-cycle company, managing every stage of the process—from design and manufacturing to sales, delivery, and installation. With production facilities in both the United States and Europe, we deliver high-quality solutions to customers across the U.S.
As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Supply Engineering team and are looking for an experienced Supply Engineering Team Lead to help scale our operations, optimize supply processes, and lead a high-performing team.
The Role
The Supply Engineering Team Lead will report directly to the Chief Technical Officer and lead a team of four Supply Engineers.
Approximately 80% of the role focuses on team leadership, coordination, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, while 20% involves hands-on supply engineering activities to support the team during peak workload, employee absences, or complex projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient procurement operations, developing internal processes, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Responsibilities
1. Procurement operations
- Launch production by coordinating glass orders and ensuring the availability of required hardware and materials.
- Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate material lists.
- Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before placing orders.
- Track engineering documentation and procurement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure procurement documentation and component orders are completed before production and container arrivals.
2. Supplier management
- Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage purchasing activities for production, warehouse, and installation operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, logistics, and delivery issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost optimization.
3. Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams.
- Support engineering changes, material substitutions, and procurement planning.
- Provide procurement expertise, material recommendations, and pricing information for projects.
- Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and technical documentation.
4. Team leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers.
- Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and monitor project deadlines.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide coaching and performance feedback.
- Review procurement documentation, material lists, and purchase orders prepared by the team.
- Support engineers with complex sourcing challenges and supplier escalations.
- Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize procurement workflows.
- Report progress, risks, and operational updates to the Chief Technical Officer.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within the glass, glazing systems, architectural hardware, or closely related industries.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including direct leadership of procurement, sourcing, or supply teams.
- Proven experience building or scaling a procurement/sourcing function from scratch, including processes, workflows, supplier management standards, reporting, KPIs, and team structure.
- Experience designing and implementing procurement processes, policies, and operating procedures across the full purchasing cycle.
- Strong experience working with international suppliers and markets, ideally across multiple regions such as Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing and procurement of glass, glazing components, aluminum or steel systems, architectural hardware, fittings, accessories, or other closely related materials.
- Experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, pricing, lead times, quality issues, and supply risks.
- Experience with international logistics, import/export, customs, and cross-border procurement.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Experience implementing or improving procurement tools, task management systems, reporting, and cross-functional workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Fluent Russian will be a plus.

Work Location
- Remote or On-site
- Monday–Friday.
- Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
