Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence and innovation. In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

The Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting Bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team develops the Bank’s Information Security strategy and policy, manages the Information Security program and identifies and addresses vulnerabilities, Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls portfolio, Manages and operates a global security operations center that monitors, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents.

Job Description

The individual will be part of The Cyber Security Technology, Identity authentication, access technology teams that are responsible for the ongoing development of applications used Enterprise-wide covering authentication authorization. In this role, you will be using the experience you have gained throughout your career to work with a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of complex, globally distributed, applications. We expect tech lead to be comfortable contributing throughout the application stack and we believe it is critical that you follow Agile best practices including common design patterns, proper source code control practices, delivery of unit test cases and CI/CD. Whether your teams are building applications from scratch, de-bugging existing code, your skills will be tested and your knowledge-base will grow as you rise to meet the challenges. You will use your communication skills to collaborate with global teams across the firm and you leadership skills to develop and coach your team.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep technical knowledge to create technology solutions that address complex technical, architectural and organizational challenges.
• Partner with the Product Owners, Business Analysts, Testers, Site Reliability Engineers and Dev Ops to comprehensively deliver quality releases and ensure stability of the platforms.
• Own the quality of software delivered by the team you lead.
• Interact with client stakeholders, at a senior technical level, including collaborating to reach agreement on solution architecture, design and technical approach, while creating an optimal working environment for the development team.
• Coach and mentor intermediate developers to grow skills and drive effective delivery.
• Ensure strict adherence to delivery schedule and promote use of AI dev tooling available in enterprise

Requirements

 Education : B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications If Any : NA

Experience Range : 7+ years

 Foundational skills

• Previous Application Programming/Development Lead experience in designing, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications.
• Experience working in Agile SCRUM development process and a comprehensive understanding of various phases of Software Development Lifecycle.
• A disciplined thinker and capable of working across organizational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment.
• Ability to communicate, written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

• Strong skills in design and developing robust Java, RESTAPI, and Micro Services. Proficiency in Spring / SpringBoot.
• Experience in UI development with React
• Hands-on experience in Identity & Authentication technologies including OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, FIDO/WebAuthn, PKI, and LDAP.
• Experience in Oracle database with SQL and PL/SQL queries
• Skilled in using CI/CD tool set (JIRA/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)
• Proficiency in development in Unix/Linux environment
• Experience in Web servers, Application servers
• Debugging and Troubleshooting skills
• Advanced Communication skills

 Desired skills

• Working knowledge of digital credentials and digital wallet. For first couple of weeks, we can ask TA to share profile with this experience as mandatory. Based on the profile availability, we can make it optional in subsequent weeks.
• Experience in IAM platforms, such as Ping One, Ping Federate, Hypr, Okta, ForgeRock.
• Familiarity with containerization, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Exposure to mobile development
• Experience in Camunda and process orchestration
• Exposure to cryptography and programming with HSM
