NoorNation is Egypt's first African renewable energy development and manufacturing startup, providing decentralized solar-powered energy and water solutions across Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa. Its flagship product, LifeBox, is a mobile, solar-powered unit that delivers clean electricity and safe water to farming, tourism, and rural communities. Designed and manufactured in Egypt, LifeBox supports sustainability, industrial localization, and economic growth while improving access to essential resources in underserved areas.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV, electrical, and water systems.
• Monitor site activities, supervise technicians and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and technical standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, logistics, and site operations to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review technical drawings, BOQs/BOMs, conduct system testing, inspections, and project handovers.
• Maintain project documentation, prepare regular progress reports, and communicate with customers and stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites across Egypt as required and contribute to continuous operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the solar industry.
• Good understanding of solar PV systems, electrical installations, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, BOQs/BOMs, and engineering software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, or PVSol is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical components, inverters, batteries, and balance of system equipment.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
• Strong commitment to HSE standards and safe work practices.
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites across different governorates.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work.
