Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team. You will serve as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leaders, using market insights, recruiting data, and technical talent expertise to shape hiring strategies, calibrate profiles, identify risks, and drive hiring outcomes. You will own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer negotiation while building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers globally. This is a hybrid role working from our Sunnyvale headquarters three days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Drive the recruitment lifecycle for technical roles across AI/ML, software, embedded, systems, cloud, and related areas globally, ensuring an efficient, rigorous, and high-quality hiring process.
- Recruiting Calibration & Strategy: Lead intake and calibration sessions, translating business and technical requirements into clear candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, assessment criteria, and recruiting plans.
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and influencing hiring strategies through market insights, pipeline data, and candidate feedback.
- Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to engage high-caliber technical talent, continuously evaluating effectiveness and adjusting as needed.
- Screening & Assessment: Assess candidates against defined success criteria, including technical experience, scope, complexity, ownership, impact, communication, and motivation, while driving consistent, evidence-based evaluation.
- AI & Recruiting Innovation: Apply AI to improve recruiting processes, productivity, research, sourcing, analysis, and decision-making, while identifying opportunities to improve how the team operates.
- Data & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate Greenhouse data and leverage recruiting metrics to identify risks, forecast outcomes, diagnose bottlenecks, and adjust strategy while ensuring compliance.
- Talent Intelligence & Market Research: Understand relevant talent markets, competitor activity, compensation trends, talent availability, and emerging technologies, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environments, with ownership of complex, competitive engineering searches.
- Proven ability to advise engineering leaders, influence hiring decisions, challenge assumptions, and provide data- and market-driven recommendations.
- Demonstrated success developing multi-channel sourcing strategies and recruiting passive talent across competitive technical domains such as software, embedded systems, cloud, or AI/ML.
- Strong technical curiosity and AI fluency, with the ability to quickly understand complex technical domains, engage credibly with candidates and engineering stakeholders, and thoughtfully leverage AI to improve recruiting processes, productivity, research, sourcing, analysis, and decision-making.
- Experience using recruiting metrics and funnel data to assess pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, forecast outcomes, and adjust strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple complex searches while maintaining a strong candidate experience and effective stakeholder communication.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a track record of building strong candidate and hiring manager relationships.
- Ability to work onsite at our Sunnyvale headquarters three days per week.

The posted salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for a base salary for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.
