Join our Finance Team and advance your career as Retail AR Accountant - Spanish Speaking

In the Retail AR Accountant – Spanish Speaking role you demonstrate deep understanding of specific key account customers, processes / systems and act as a partner concern point (working with Customer Service Support Teams) of contact for any verbal or written form of enquiries from external and internal customers and third parties. Interact with partners in a professional, friendly and efficient manner and raise concerns about meeting service levels or deadlines. Establish and foster strong business relationships with relevant team members and internal business partners.

In this role You will:

• Reconciliation of assigned accounts, investigate any issues or unusual balances, suggest solutions and intensify as necessary
• Run & verify the month end stock accounting processes, ensuring all movements correctly priced & accounted for and all adjustments are made
• To carry out the month end close processes in a timely and accurate manner for complex or difficult accounting areas – needing to analyse both Balance Sheet and Profit&Loss accounts
• Preparation of documents and adjustments for monthly close
• To work with the Business / Country teams supported to ensure mutual understanding of all accounting entries and follow up on queries
• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliation work (BSI) for businesses / countries supported.
• Timely manage incoming queries and follow-up on outgoing ones, keep trackers updated and report any aged items
• Monitoring of open items / overdue and report monthly on aged items to Line Manager
• Prepare and analyse reports as requested by Business or Line Manager
• Support Line Manager and Lead AR Specialist with providing requested data in connection with local issues
• Assist employees in determining the proper ‘Charge To’ coding for projects and third-party charges

What You will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Few years’ experience in a business support environment
• Fluency in English and Spanish language.
• Must demonstrate high level of proficiency in Microsoft Packages (Excel & Word) and show an intermediate level interest in CRM systems/applications
• Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
• Financial studies or relevant experience, preferably in SAP system

• Diligent personality and capability to overcome obstacles
• Capability to work in a team or individually if required
• Ability to keep deadlines whilst under pressure without compromising accuracy
• Highly motivated
• Exhibit strong Teammate characteristics, constructive communication and active listening skills always
