Role Summary

As our organization continues to expand across the globe, we are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead our People Change and Transformation Portfolio within Group HR Operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire landscape of HR projects and programmes, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and deliver maximum business value. This role will maintain a strong and collaborative global network and act as a senior leader in the delivery of the Group HR Operations Change strategy. To drive success, the role will need to strategically prioritize investments, influence executive stakeholders, and foster collaboration without authority across various Divisions and Brands in our global federated model.

Key Responsibilities

Working in close partnership with the PMO Manager, Project Managers, and global HR leadership, you will be responsible for the health, direction, and success of the transformation portfolio. Your primary focus will be:

• Strategic Alignment & Roadmap: Directing the overall programme roadmap, ensuring the entire portfolio of projects seamlessly aligns with broader organisational goals and the Group HR Operations & Transformation strategy.
• Demand & Prioritization: Supporting the intake of new initiatives, evaluating business cases, and prioritising investments across the Global HR Ops community based on strategic value, risk, and organizational capacity.
• Portfolio Governance: Partnering with the PMO to enforce a robust governance framework for all implementations, providing executive-level visibility into portfolio health, financial performance, and cross-project dependencies.
• Resource & Capacity Strategy: Providing strategic oversight of resource allocation across our federated model, ensuring teams across different Divisions and Brands are aligned to the highest-priority initiatives without being over-leveraged.
• Benefits Realisation: Establishing frameworks to track and measure the successful execution of projects, ensuring they not only enhance overall delivery efficiency but also realise their intended ROI and transformational goals.

Skills & Experience

Experience & Knowledge:

• Extensive Portfolio/Programme Experience: Significant track record in Portfolio Management, Senior Programme Management, or PMO Leadership, specifically guiding large-scale HR, People Systems, or Organizational Transformation portfolios.
• Global & Federated Expertise: Deep experience operating at a strategic level within a large, highly matrixed, or federated organization, balancing centralized strategy with decentralized execution.
• Financial & Commercial Acumen: Strong experience in portfolio financial management, budget allocation, business case development, and ROI tracking.
• Governance Design: Proven ability to design and implement portfolio-level governance structures, stage-gating processes, and executive reporting dashboards.

Core Competencies:

• Executive Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite and senior leadership, drive strategic consensus, and manage conflicting priorities across different brands.
• Influencing Without Authority: The ability to steer global teams, secure resource commitments, and foster deep collaboration across autonomous divisions where you lack direct reporting lines.
• Strategic & Visionary Thinking: The ability to look beyond individual projects to see the "big picture," identifying macro-level risks and opportunities for synergy across the global network.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Recognised Portfolio Management certification (e.g., PMI-PfMP, MoP) or advanced Programme Management certification (e.g., MSP, PgMP).
• Advanced expertise in enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tools (e.g., Smartsheets, JIRA)
