Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to optimize the performance and reliability of our software systems with Global IT Supply Chain Solutions focusing on but not limited to Vendor collaboration & Transport Management Applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing, bottleneck analysis, and monitoring tools, with a strong experience using NeoLoad and a good understanding of setting up Monitoring Tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance test strategies using Neo Load and working with Product Management on NFR Requirement gathering.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts on the in house PTAF – Performance Test Automation framework.
• The ability to work carry out performance testing on multiple products simultaneously.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance best practices.
• Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Appinsights) to track system health and performance metrics.
• Generate comprehensive performance analysis reports and present findings.
• Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing to ensure system reliability.
• Help support the upskill for other engineers on the team on performance scripting / testing.
• Stay updated with the latest performance testing methodologies and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in performance engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in NeoLoad for load and stress testing.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex systems E2E - End to End.
• Strong understanding of API Performance testing and testing input & endpoints using REST API.
• Solid understanding of system architecture’s, cloud environments, and databases & Integrations.
• Strong experience using writing Database queries (SQL).
• Efficient in creating BULK Datasets required for Load Testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & Excellent communication, Great Presentation skills and teamwork abilities.
• Worked in Agile Environment / teams (SAFE Agile) & familiar with using JIRA & Confluence.
• Good understanding of how to use Git / GitHub and push/merge code into Repository.
• Know how to utilize Parallel Execution for more efficient ways of working.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, JavaScript & BDD).
• Knowledge of containerized environments.
• Knowledge of BDD Automation Tetsing.
• Knowledge of using CI/CD (Jenkins & Azure) to execute performance regression.
• Manual / Automation Testing Experience / ISTQB Qualifications or similar

Nice to have: Zephyr, Selenium, Maven, TOSCA, Oracle, Docker & Kubernetes
