About the role

As our Senior Manager, Press Office & Issues Management, you'll lead a high-performing press office and strengthen the LEGO Group's issues management capability. You'll shape responses to media interest, provide trusted counsel on reputation and prepare the organisation to manage significant issues with clarity, pace and confidence. The role combines press office leadership with reactive enquiries, crisis communications, corporate messaging, and global guidance.

This is a Senior Manager-level individual contributor role.

Required Qualifications

·    Led press office, media relations, issues management or crisis communications for a high-profile consumer brand.

·    Managed complex and high-profile media enquiries from initial fact-finding through to the final response.

·    Developed crisis plans, escalation processes and response protocols for reputation-critical situations.

·    Produced clear media statements, Q&A materials, briefings and corporate messaging under tight deadlines.

·    Advised senior leaders on media handling, reputation risk and response strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

·    Delivered scenario-planning or preparedness exercises to strengthen issues readiness.

·    Strong track record of stakeholder engagement and management both internally and externally.

·    An accessible library of approved messaging, holding statements and Q&A materials.

·    Consistent guidance for markets managing significant issues.

·    Better preparedness through monitoring, scenario planning and lessons from live issues.

If you've worked in a role where you established facts quickly, advised senior leaders and coordinated responses across functions or markets, you'll feel at home here. Being able to demonstrate clear judgement, credible writing and practical delivery under pressure will be key.

Life on the team

You'll join the Corporate & Sustainability Communications team, which sits within the broader Corporate Brand Communications organisation. The team builds, protects and strengthens the LEGO Group's reputation globally. You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values calm, decisive leadership, clear communication and staying close to execution when it counts.

What success looks like

You'll master the balance between speed, accuracy and sound judgement when complex issues emerge. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll strengthen press office operations, crisis readiness, corporate messaging and global consistency. You'll work closely with senior leaders, Corporate Brand Communications colleagues, issues response teams, market communications teams and media relations stakeholders.
