We are seeking a Senior Manager, Field Medical Affairs – Oncology, Japan to join our Medical Affairs team, supporting our oncology portfolio in a field-based role. In this role, you will engage in scientific exchange and collaborate with therapeutic area experts to provide disease and product information, as well as support research initiatives. Discover your role:

• Identify and maintain relationships with medical and therapeutic area experts, investigator targets, and develop associated action plans.
• Respond to requests for information on study indications, disease states, and therapeutic areas, presenting scientific and clinical data to diverse audiences in a compliant manner.
• Educate practitioners, payers, and researchers on disease management and therapeutic areas.
• Attend medical conferences to gather and share scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence with internal stakeholders.
• Support the investigator-initiated study program by building scientific relationships with investigators and identifying research opportunities.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Clinical Operation, and trial staff to support site initiation, enrollment, and execution of Medical Affairs strategies.
• Develop and implement rules and procedures for Field Medical activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, policies, and industry standards.
• You excel in working collaboratively within a matrix organization and cultivating relationships in academic and clinical practice settings.

This role requires:

• A healthcare or scientific professional (PhD, MD, PharmD) with oncology experience and/or clinical trial experience. A Master’s Degree with extensive oncology expertise may be considered.
• Deep knowledge and significant experience in lung cancer/solid tumors or hematology oncology; immuno-oncology experience is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical settings such as drug information, disease management programs, or clinical pharmacy/medicine.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in Japanese and English.
• Ability to travel 30–50%.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with academic and clinical practice settings.
• A commitment to adhering to compliance culture and standards.
