What is the opportunity?

Lead the strategy and operations of RBC's corporate travel, corporate card, and employee expense applications portfolio. As the day-to-day owner of vendor relationships and expense platforms, you'll drive employee experience while managing risk, compliance, and cost optimization. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage cross-functional projects with IT, Finance, Risk, and Compliance, and shape policy governance across the enterprise. You'll deliver measurable business impact through vendor performance optimization, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement at all levels.

What will you do?

• Execute multi-year category strategy for travel, corporate cards, and expense applications; manage key vendor relationships and performance reviews
• Act as internal product owner for employee expense applications, gathering requirements and coordinating enhancements with IT and risk teams
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFP/RFI), develop evaluation criteria, and negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and contracts with vendor support
• Lead strategic projects and program initiatives; coordinate cross-functional workstreams and manage timelines, resources, and interdependencies
• Own the Travel & Expense policy framework; ensure compliance with banking regulations, data privacy laws, and internal risk frameworks
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across Finance, HR, IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and business units in North America
• Maintain category dashboards, deliver analytics on spend, savings, compliance, and employee experience metrics to leadership
• Champion employee experience by simplifying processes, improving tools, and providing clear, accessible communication and training

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 6–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with focus on services/technology categories
• Proven experience leading RFPs and contract negotiations in regulated financial services environments
• Strong category management, vendor management, and product ownership capabilities with cross-functional stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated project and change management expertise delivering strategic initiatives in large, complex organizations
• Solid understanding of corporate travel, T&E platforms, corporate card programs, and employee expense ecosystems

Nice-to-have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement, or related field; MBA or professional designation (CPSM, CIPS, SCMP) is an asset
• Experience acting as internal product owner for technology-enabled expense or payment solutions
• Exposure to agile or hybrid project delivery methods
• Prior background in North American banking or financial services with regulatory and risk framework familiarity
