Your next career opportunity
You will lead high-quality research in economics or econometrics within a globally recognised, impact-driven department.
You will teach engaged students, supervise ambitious researchers, and help shape innovative curricula and academic leadership.
What you will deliver:
- Produce internationally recognised research and actively secure external funding through grants, fellowships and collaborations.
- Deliver high-quality teaching in specialist and core subjects across undergraduate, honours and graduate programmes.
- Supervise and mentor honours, masters and PhD students, fostering rigorous research training and academic development.
- Provide academic leadership through subject coordination, curriculum innovation and contributions to departmental strategy and governance.
- Engage with government, industry and community partners to translate research insights into policy and practice.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a PhD in economics, econometrics or a closely related discipline, completed by commencement.
- Demonstrate a strong, sustained research record with publications in leading peer-reviewed economics or econometrics journals.
- Teach effectively in specialist economics or econometrics subjects and contribute to core undergraduate or postgraduate teaching.
- Secure, or show strong potential to secure, competitive research funding and cooperative policy or industry projects.
- Provide high-quality supervision and mentoring for honours, masters and PhD students across diverse research topics.
- Contribute positively to departmental leadership, service, curriculum development and external engagement with government or industry.
