Position Accountabilities

Teaching responsibilities will be aligned with the candidate’s academic background and professional expertise. In addition to face-to-face instruction, the teaching load may include online courses. Opportunities to develop and enhance online course offerings may also be available. The standard teaching assignment is four courses per semester.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or D.B.A (ABD or master’s degree considered) in business with a focus on Business Analytics including Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Data Science or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university. 

• Master’s degree with industry experience may be considered

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and statistical software.

• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic and/ or industry experience in:

  • database systems

  • data collection from multiple sources, including APIs.

  • Business Analytics

• Experience teaching online courses

• Expertise in DevOps, data pipeline design, and cloud computing platforms, such as AWS.
