Sobre esta vaga de Senior Designer na Sumble Inc
About Sumble
Sales teams don't need more contacts, they need more context. Sumble shows go-to-market teams what's happening inside the accounts they sell to: the technologies they use, the teams and people behind them, and the projects they're investing in. We turn public, traceable evidence into account intelligence that helps go-to-market teams size markets, build territories, prioritize accounts, and reach the right people with a useful point of view.
Customers like Snowflake, Figma, Elastic, Wiz and Vercel rely on us, and we've raised $38.5M from Coatue and Canaan. Now, we're ready to accelerate.
Our long-term vision is to become the primary destination for high-quality web data.
Our Team
We're a team of almost 40 across product, design, engineering, data science, marketing, customer success, and sales, with experience at companies such as Google, Meta, Stack Overflow, Rippling, Snowflake and Confluent. You'll report to our Head of Product and work closely with our current designer, the founders, engineering and the marketing team.
How We Work
AI is part of how everyone at Sumble works, and design is no exception. We expect you to keep experimenting with new tools and share what's working so the whole team gets better.
We're a small team with a lot of ownership. You'll take problems from open-ended to shipped, have direct conversations instead of waiting on approval chains, and keep improving based on how customers use what we build.
What You'll Tackle
The Challenges
- Making rich data feel simple. Sumble brings together a huge breadth of account data. The interface has to make it feel clear, fast and dependable.
- Moving between the big picture and the proof. Users need powerful aggregate views, like every company running a particular cloud migration, and the ability to drill into the exact job post or person behind a signal.
- Telling a technical story to a sales audience. Sumble's value is obvious once you're in the product and harder to convey on a landing page. The brand has to land with a sales leader, and a data engineer alike.
- Staying consistent while moving fast. Sumble shows up in a data-dense web app and in marketing across the website, social, decks and campaigns. Both need to feel unmistakably Sumble, even though they do very different jobs.
What You'll Do
- Start with brand and marketing. Design the website, launch materials, decks, social and campaigns, and evolve our visual identity alongside the marketing team.
- Grow into product design. Build on our recent UI redesign by owning flows end to end, from early exploration to launch, including PLG activation and upgrade moments.
- Build the system. Develop reusable components and visual standards that hold up across both product and brand.
- Prototype with AI. Use AI to explore directions and move quickly from lo-fi sketches to hi-fi prototypes.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- Exceptional visual craft across typography, layout, color, hierarchy and interaction, shown in a portfolio that covers both product and brand or marketing work.
- A track record of shipping product, with strong UX judgment.
- Hands-on brand experience translating a visual identity across web, campaigns and other formats.
- An active AI design practice. You can explain where AI tools improve your process, critically evaluate their output and take responsibility for the final result.
- Clear communication that makes design decisions and tradeoffs easy to follow.
- Comfort with ambiguity. You bring structure to open-ended problems and balance high standards with making progress.
- A collaborative streak. You welcome ideas from other disciplines and help teammates do their best work.
Sumble Design Principles
- No black boxes. We make it clear where our data comes from and why users are seeing it, so they trust both the data and the interface.
- Joyful out of the box, flexible over time. Interfaces should feel great from the first click and evolve as users' needs grow.
- Craft, conventions and systems, in balance. Visual polish, familiar UX patterns and systems thinking all matter, and none wins by default.
- Just enough design. We skip heavy documentation and decks, but we invest in standards and infrastructure.
- Design with, not downstream. Design works alongside engineering, founders and GTM from the start, not after decisions are made.
