We have an exciting opportunities for a Senior Consultant to join our Corporate & International Tax team in Brisbane. You will be part of a high performing team that advises on complex Australian taxation law matters.  Your role will involve providing advisory and compliance services to a diverse range of clients ranging from large private groups to complex international groups.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work

• Researching and drafting advice on complex technical matters, including sale and restructure advice, ATO rulings and position papers

• Assisting with ATO reviews

• Preparation of income tax returns and work papers

• Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations

• Develop strong and broad relationships with your clients and become a trusted advisor

• Helping to mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff

About You

• Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation)

• Strong client advisory and communication skills

• Experienced level of tax compliance background, with a passion for improving your advisory technical expertise and knowledge

• Exposure consulting a range of clients, ideally including cross-border structures, financing arrangements and transactions
