- Perform remote assessments of container integrity, cargo securing methods, and lashing arrangements using photographic and written shipment records.
- Review hatch-cover inspection reports and related marine cargo documentation to assess sealing, weatherproofing, and compliance with safety standards.
- Write clear, professional surveyor findings and damage attributions, providing detailed reasoning for each conclusion as would be required in a signed surveyor's report.
- Deliver structured, written feedback to support the training and evaluation of advanced AI models focused on cargo logistics and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications

- Background in one or more of the following: reefer and perishables surveying, container and securing surveying, marine hatch-cover inspection, finished-vehicle logistics inspection, or food transport auditing.
- Strong analytical judgment and a meticulous approach to documentation review and report writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, well-reasoned explanations for technical findings.
- Familiarity with international transportation compliance standards and best practices for cargo condition and securing.
