Sobre esta vaga de Senior Brand Partnerships Manager na Jobber

Jobber · Híbrido · Edmonton

Do you believe in the power of community?

Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Senior Brand Partnerships Manager to be part of our Brand Marketing and Communications team in our Marketing department.

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers, while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.

The team:

When it comes to telling the world about Jobber and moving new people through a funnel, Marketing is your team. They handle everything from spreading awareness, to answering “What's Jobber?,” to getting new customers in the door, to turning those customers into Jobber advocates!

Jobber's Brand Marketing and Communications team works on programs and campaigns that grow awareness of Jobber, including our annual Jobber Summit event, our Jobber Grants program, and many other online and offline experiences we collaborate on with our community to pull off! The following areas fall under Brand Marketing and Communications: Brand Partnerships, Communications, Community Programs, Events, Public Relations, and Social Media. Our Marketing department is very collaborative, so you'll have the support of your colleagues from Product Marketing to the Jobber Creative Studio to make the magic happen.

The role:

Our Brand Partnerships team manages both short term and long term relationships with online influencers to build awareness of Jobber and recommend Jobber software to their communities, ultimately driving new Jobber customers. It's one of our acquisition channels and we're building it into a best-in-class program.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships, the Senior Brand Partnerships Manager is a senior individual contributor role for someone who wants to shape where this channel goes next. Half of your time goes to your own roster of brand partners and the spend behind it, recruiting, coaching, negotiating, and hitting a monthly number. The other half is bigger: you'll build the strategy for how we help our strongest partners grow further, across the entire program, forecast what it's worth, prove it on your own roster, and roll it out to the team.

The ideal candidate has done this before. You've looked across a whole roster and seen where the real headroom was, not just where the gaps were. You've built a strategy, set a number against it, and been held to it. You're comfortable in the data, confident in a negotiation, and good at getting people who don't report to you to change how they work. You have a point of view about where creator marketing is heading and the operating discipline to prove it.

The Senior Brand Partnerships Manager will:

  • Own a roster. You'll recruit, coach, and grow your own roster of brand partners and the spend behind it—full cycle, from first conversation and negotiation through onboarding, ongoing coaching, and renewal.

  • Help great partners 2x their results. With visibility across our whole partner network, you'll work out what our most successful partners do differently, and turn that into something every partner can benefit from. The best partners in this program are still nowhere near their ceiling, and finding what takes them there is the heart of this role.

  • Build the strategy for partner growth. You'll develop the strategy, set the targets and forecast, design what we try, and test across the team. This is work that doesn't exist yet—you'll create it.

  • Implement growth strategies. Working collaboratively across our team, you’ll implement and launch strategies to grow our performing talent into top performers. You’ll set targets, work with other reps to activate their partners, and report on performance regularly to prove what’s working to drive incremental sales.

  • Turn it into plays the team can run. Every improvement you create should become something repeatable. You'll document it, train the team on it, and make sure it sticks, then be honest about what isn't working and change course.

  • Dig deep into the data. You'll analyze channel performance, report on results, and translate what you find into action.

  • Negotiate with judgment. You'll handle complex partnership negotiations and contracts, using strong judgment on brand fit and brand risk, and collaborating with our Public Relations and Legal teams where a partnership carries exposure.

  • Be a brand champion. You'll protect and grow the reach and reputation of our brand through the partners we work with, and contribute ideas for campaigns, events, and resources that make our program one people want to be part of.

  • Raise the level of the team. You'll share insights and learnings, coach and support other Brand Partnership reps, and help set the standard for what great looks like here.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Extensive marketing and influencer partnership experience. You’ll have a track record of measurable, social-driven results that contribute to new business (sales) and revenue.

  • A track record of making good performance great. You've taken programs or partners that were already working and found meaningful additional growth in them, helping them reach a level they hadn’t before, and you can explain exactly how.

  • Experience building strategy, not just running campaigns or managing partners. You've formed a thesis about where growth was hiding in a program, forecast it, executed it, and got other people to adopt it so it can compound and scale across a team.

  • Real comfort with data. You can analyze partner-level performance, build a forecast you'll defend, and tell the difference between a trend and noise, without waiting for someone to build you a report.

  • The ability to influence without authority. Much of your impact will come through people who don't report to you. Previous people-leadership experience is a real asset here.

  • Strong commercial instincts. You're confident pitching, handling objections, negotiating, and closing, and you keep a warm pipeline, warm.

  • Excellent judgment. You can assess brand fit and brand risk quickly, and you raise concerns early rather than after the fact.

  • Strong communication and project management skills. You'll coordinate directly with partners and across multiple internal teams to move work forward.

  • Ambition and humility. You don't accept the status quo simply because “it's what we've always done.” You push for better, newer, and more innovative ways to do things, all while staying humble.

  • Comfort wearing multiple hats. This is a hands-on role. Strategy sits alongside building a roster with campaign briefs, backend setup, contract tracking, and content monitoring.

  • The ability to travel. You may get the opportunity to represent Jobber during Ambassador brand trips, trade shows and other customer-related events across North America.

It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had:

  • Previous people-leadership experience.

  • Sales or business development experience at a SaaS company or tech startup.

  • Experience running paid campaigns on social media and with creators.

  • Experience with affiliate or partner management platforms and attribution tooling.

  • Education in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related fields. BA, BS, MBA or MS in Marketing, Business or related field is a plus.

Location:

We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect. To support this, the role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.

Compensation:

At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $121,000, a midpoint of $142,200, and a maximum salary of $163,600, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.

We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact. For this role, we’re starting in the earlier portion of the range with room to grow further into the band as the role’s scope and impact expand. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both the current shape of the role and the opportunity for growth as it evolves.

Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development.

We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process!

What you can expect from Jobber:

  • A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, matching in RRSP, TFSA or FHSA, and stock options.

  • A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential.

  • A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet.

  • To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.

We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
