자격요건

•컴퓨터 과학 또는 관련 분야 학사 학위 이상

• 대규모 분산 시스템, 시스템 설계 및 알고리즘 관련 분야에서 4년 이상의 경험

• Java 또는 그 외 객체 지향 프로그래밍 언어로 코딩한 4년 이상의 경험

• 객체 지향 프로그래밍 경험 및 Java 또는 그 외의 언어를 능숙하게 다룰 수 있는 경험

• 대규모 서비스 설계 및 구축, 운영 경험

• 공격적으로 문제를 진단하고 창의적으로 문제를 해결할 수 있는 능력

Coupang Eats is Coupang’s food delivery service, bringing high-quality meals from restaurants and cafés straight to customers’ doors. As part of the Merchant Systems Engineering organization, you will build core systems for thousands of merchants that directly influence the choices of millions of Coupang Eats customers. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to drive growth in a fast-changing environment.

This position is based at Coupang headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of Eats Merchant services
• Build and maintain systems using diverse technologies such as:
• Ensure site reliability to deliver a seamless shopping experience
• Collaborate within a truly global organization across Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, and San Francisco

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, system design, and algorithms
• 4+ years of coding experience in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and proficiency in Java or similar languages
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating large-scale services
• Ability to diagnose issues aggressively and solve problems creatively
• Proficiency with AWS and Spring Framework

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce or O2O (Online-to-Offline) industries
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in logistics for large-scale services with complex business offerings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Development experience related to location-based services or logistics

Document Return Policy

• This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
• A job applicant, who has applied but not been finally selected for a position at Coupang (the “Company”), may request the Company to return his/her hiring documents submitted pursuant to the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
