About the Role 

The Commercial Associate plays a fundamental role in the sales team as they are responsible along with the Sales Representative in the follow up of credit line requests and renewals. The CA oversees new origination executions and have close communication with other areas such as credit, legal, closing, capping, treasury, maintenance, and sourcing ensuring all the deal flows properly and executed without delays according to the plan. The position of CA allows the Sales Representatives to be more focused on prospecting and closing new deals. Business impacts we can have in case of not filling the position is to have several credit renewals delays that may put on hold or stops new vehicle requests and acquisitions/originations, also may cause the Sales Representatives to use their time more on administrative purposes instead of selling.

What You’ll Do 

• Guarantee the renewals of client’s credit lines, through the following actions: · Contact and pressure the client so we can have their updated internal and audited financial information (credit bureau / KYC / power of attorneys, etc). · Update the Pricing Model in Element Pricing Model (EPM) flow by capturing and sending client’s information. · Create the renewal credit line opportunity in Sales Force (CRM), capturing the same information as in EPM. · Coordinate a meeting between sales rep and risk / pricing to review client’s information.
• Provide support to Sales Rep analyzing potential clients. Actively monitor business opportunities to facilitate and streamline operation’s flow as well as the commercial relationship with each client. Collaborate with legal area for the preparation of contracts for clients
• Update client’s information on the Anti Money Laundering (AML) platform so legal area can carry out pertinent reviews.
• Start doing cold Calling & prospecting tiers 3 & 4 at least for 5 meeting per year. Focusing on training to eventually become Sales Reps by developing sales skills. Partnering with strategic consultants to start doing TCO’s and engage in meeting with strategic consultants to understand how TCO’s & reports works in order to master the products and services capabilities to eventually become Strategic consultant.

Ideal candidate profile 

- Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Finance, Engineering, or any other related career (numerical).

· +2 years being a CA in Element, or +2 years of experience in the commercial and / or financial services industry.

- Knowledge and Competencies

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Advanced /fluent English.

· Ability to work under pressure with high detail orientation.

· Focus on the client. Strong commitment to the client and strong skills for building interpersonal relationships.

· Able to build and nurture lasting relationships.

· Nice to have: Strong analytical skills, process improvement and quality orientation.

· Proactive, self-empowered, with the ability to work under pressure, passionate about change.
