Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze reinsurance data received from cedants

• Ensure regulatory data compliance

• Conduct experience studies to support actuarial assumption setting

• Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, claims, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness

• Identify data quality issues and help design processes to enhance data integrity

• Generate standard and ad-hoc reports and visualizations for internal and external use

• Support automation and process improvement initiatives within the team

• Where applicable, assume directorship responsibilities in accordance with China’s regulatory and governance requirements, including fulfilling legal obligations as a company director, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining proper corporate governance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• 1–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in insurance, reinsurance, or data analytics

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with statistics tools (SQL, Python, or R) 

• Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills in Mandarin and basic English
