Category Overview:

Home Care has categories covering Fabric Solutions, Fabric Care and Home and Hygiene. We have a wide range of cleaning products sold under big brands like Surf Excel, Rin, Wheel, Vim and Domex. We are the market leaders in the dishwash and fabric cleaning category.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely & collaboratively with Global design team to deliver PCR (Post Consumer recyclate material) program for Flexible packaging portfolio for both Powder & Liquids & Co- ordinating for saving program for Home Care BU packaging.
• This role involves close tracking of in-year PCR delivery for the Powder & Liquid portfolio with leading technical feasibility with multiple suppliers & at multiple factories to build resilience.
• Work closely & collaboratively with the Global design team, Supply Chain & procurement to make aligned forward plans for the next 3 years; ensuring technical feasibility & resilience for an in-year PCR target delivery.
• Co-ordinate the packaging saving program for HC BU to ensure in year saving delivery, by coordinating collation of new packaging ideas, maintaining the saving number file, signing off the saving numbers with finance team & participating in saving workshops for consolidation of overall saving number for the year.
• Scouting new Technology /New Polymer Resin for Improved functionalities, to bring in savings.
• To drive the end-to-end project network for certain projects from inception to in market delivery working with cross functional teams.
• Effectively communicating with multiple functions and business partners and adhering to network timelines for project delivery.
• Working on Recyclable packaging options which are cost neutral & work on current supply chain.
• Driving circularity projects by working on recycled plastic incorporation in the current packaging.

Key technical skills:

• Good understanding of flexible and rigid material and machine interfaces.
• Sound knowledge on range of Packaging Materials- Laminates, Rigids, Paper & Paperboard.
• Basis appreciation of costs and cost modelling for all pkg materials, forms.
• Working Knowledge of interaction of flexible packs with FFS lines and extended supply chain elements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education – Post Graduation Diploma in Packaging from IIP or SIES
• Experience- Min. 6 months to 2 yrs experience in a packaging role.
