The position will be responsible for performing quality audits in all areas of the project. Functional independence of the QC section ensures attention of the immediate corporate management if discrepancies in specifications or craftsmanship cannot be resolved satisfactorily at the project level. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

DUTIES: 

·       Perform quality audits and inspections.

·       Provide accurate documentation of quality audits, including operating instructions, desktop procedures, work processes, work procedures, technical orders and metrics.

·       A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with and understanding of both general and specific aspects and the technical phases of the job.

·       Flutily use English language in all work products.

REQUIRED:

Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: 

·       Five years’ experience performing quality inspections; QA/ QC credentials strongly preferred.  

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

·       Experience and education in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering is preferred.

·       QA/QC experience in facilities equipment and systems Operations and Maintenance is preferred.

·       Advanced ability to visually inspect, verify, and review material, equipment, tools, operational areas, and documentation to the established standards.

·       Advanced ability to read, understand, and apply contractual requirements, standards, specifications, governmental regulations, or technical procedures.

·       Working knowledge of surveillance methods for services industry.

·       Willingness to learn and advance the required skills.

·       Advanced ability to handle tasks and details in a dynamic, fast-paced, multinational environment.

·       Computer skills in MS Office suit; proficiency in Word and Excel required, with understanding of PBi..

·       Advanced ability to effectively present information orally and in writing and respond

·       to questions from management.

·       Advanced ability to structure and write reports.

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·       Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.

·       Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.

Education:

·       Minimum education level of a High School diploma or equivalent.

·       Prefer some college education.

Security Vetting: Must obtain a favorable RSO certification as required by the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract. 

Language Skills: The selected candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken). 

Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination. 

DESIRED: 

·       Candidates must have a strong commitment to maintaining a high performing team which delivers high customer satisfaction. 

·       Relevant overseas liaison experience. 

·       Experience working with Amentum.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS:

This position may be in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50- 55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.
