QA & IT Support Specialist
About the Role
The QA & IT Support Specialist is a mid-level, hands-on role split between quality assurance on the ANT1+ streaming platform (60%) and first/second-line IT support across ANT1+'s Business Units (40%). As a QA & IT Support Specialist you will help ensure ANT1+ delivers a smooth, reliable experience to viewers, while also keeping colleagues across the organization productive and unblocked on their everyday IT needs.
Job Description
Quality Assurance — ANT1+ Platform (60%)
- Design, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for the ANT1+ web, mobile and connected-TV apps
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory and cross-device/browser testing ahead of each release
- Validate video playback, streaming quality, DRM, subscriptions/payments and content metadata across platforms
- Log, triage and track defects through resolution using the team's bug-tracking tool (e.g., Jira)
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and the DevOps team during sprint cycles and release planning
- Contribute to and help maintain test plans, QA documentation and release checklists
- Support the introduction and upkeep of automated testing frameworks where applicable
IT Support — Business Units (40%)
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to employees across ANT1's Business Units (hardware, software, network and account issues)
- Set up, configure and maintain workstations, peripherals and meeting-room/broadcast-adjacent IT equipment
- Manage user accounts, access permissions and basic administration of core business systems (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
- Log and resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs, escalating complex issues to the appropriate specialist teams
- Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with onboarding/offboarding of employee equipment and accounts
- Produce simple how-to guides and provide basic training to employees on common tools and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is a plus, not required
- 2–4 years of experience in a QA/software testing role, ideally with a media, streaming, OTT or web/mobile product
- Prior hands-on experience with IT helpdesk/support (hardware, Windows/macOS, basic networking, MS 365/Google Workspace)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case design and bug lifecycle management
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar)
- Basic understanding of client-server architecture, APIs and how streaming/video delivery works
- Comfortable managing user accounts and basic administration in Active Directory / Microsoft 365 environments
- Strong attention to detail, methodical approach and clear written communication for bug reports and documentation
- Good stakeholder management skills — comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Comfortable working on-site and balancing two functions with shifting daily priorities
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken) is required
- High ethical standards, fitting with the Values of Antenna Group
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
- Basic scripting/SQL skills for data checks and log analysis
- Exposure to streaming/OTT platforms, DRM or CDN concepts
- ITIL foundation knowledge or prior formal IT support experience
