Operations Assistant (OTT Platform)

About the Role
We're looking for an Operations Assistant to join our technical operations team supporting a live streaming and OTT media platform. You'll help maintain infrastructure reliability, support live event operations, and grow into a broader DevOps/SRE role working alongside CDN, streaming, and NOC vendors.

Job Description 

• Monitor infrastructure and platform health, and produce regular status/incident reports
• Support day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Monitor live event streaming health (CDN performance, adaptive bitrate delivery, playback QoS) and flag anomalies
• Participate in incident response and escalation workflows (e.g., Jira Service Management, on-call rotations)
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and monitoring providers on integration and troubleshooting
• Write and maintain scripts for monitoring, alerting, and reporting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Contribute to infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and NOC scope-of-work materials

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, sysadmin, or technical operations role (internships/strong personal projects considered)
• Basic scripting ability (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Familiarity with GCP (Compute Engine, monitoring/logging tools, IAM basics)
• Exposure to monitoring tools, ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow), or incident management workflows
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, CDN basics)
• Interest in streaming/media technology (CDN, DRM, adaptive bitrate) is a strong plus, not required
• Good communication skills — you'll coordinate with external vendors and internal teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-event environment where uptime matters
• Fluency in Greek & English
• High ethical standards, fitting with the Values of Antenna Group

Preferred Qualifications

• GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer or similar)
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, Cloud Monitoring, or similar)
• Exposure to video streaming platforms (Brightcove or similar) or content ingest workflows
