ICF is seeking an experienced Project Manager to assume overall responsibly for the coordination, performance, and completion of projects. You will perform independent business, governance, engagement, reporting, and project support activities.

This role will be remote but will ideally be able to attend in-person meetings at the client office in Silver Spring, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of projects.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• Lead strategic planning, budgeting, staffing performance, and staffing selection efforts in response to task requirements.
• Formulate, communicate, and enforce quality work standards.
• Monitor progress and resolve any identified issues affecting successful product/service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all administrative, personnel laws, labor laws and contractual requirements.
• Serve as primary point -of-contact with government contract and program management staff for reporting project status.
• Assign schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise personnel, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
• Maintain governance documentation, action logs, rosters, and participation records.
• Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagements, and follow-up activities.
• Conduct research and analysis supporting policy and engagement objectives.
• Develop reports, dashboards, schedules, and process documentation.
• Track actions, risks, milestones, and project deliverables.
• Support data collection and performance measurement activities.
• Demonstrate excellent people skills and communication skills (verbal, presentation, and written).

• Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint 

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 years of applicable experience.

Additional Qualifications:

• Masters Degree
• PMP Certification

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience drafting white papers, strategic planning documents, guidance documents, or other project documentation
• Leverage AI and review its output for accuracy and applicability
• Ability to easily communicate with senior government clients, lead discussions, and confidently discuss project status and propose solutions
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with clients to develop clear expectations, roles, and requirements for short and long-term projects
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate on a team in a dynamic environment, absorb and apply mission knowledge, and have a mindset of learning and continuous improvement.
• Experience serving Federal clients, particularly FDA

• Experience working in consulting firm environments
