Essential Responsibilities:
- Support daily project coordination activities, including document control, reporting, and communication between field and office teams
- Assist with tracking project costs, quantities, and productivity to support budget monitoring and forecasting
- Help develop and maintain project schedules, including progress updates and milestone tracking
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment logistics, and subcontractor activities to align with project timelines
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports
- Assist with subcontract administration, including reviewing invoices, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements
- Support implementation of project systems, procedures, and controls at project start-up and throughout execution
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, field engineering, or similar roles within foundations, piling, or heavy civil construction
- Basic understanding of project controls processes including cost tracking, scheduling, and reporting
- Experience with construction software such as Primavera P6, Excel, and document management systems
- Familiarity with foundations construction methods (piling, drilling, shoring, ground improvement) is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, site-based environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams
