Job Title: People Operations Team Lead - Foods (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Bonifacio Corporate Center, Taguig (Hybrid)

JOB PURPOSE

The People Operations Team Lead is an experienced People Operations professional who leads a hub implementation team delivering on all People Operations activity. Building on deep Workday and Hire-to-Retire expertise, this role plans and resources the hub's work, sets the standard for data accuracy and control, acts as the day-to-day interface with the Virtual Resource (VR) team, and is the quality gate that signs off validated data. The Team Lead owns the hub's end-to-end perimeter: validation of defined employees, documentation, exits, and the internal and external appointments to ensure it is delivered accurately and on time.

You'll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters - for people and the planet. Because here, we don't just hire for jobs. We invite you to be part of something bigger.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Delivery:

  • Line-manage a team of People Operations Specialists, allocating resource across validation, documentation, exits, internal appointments and external hires in line with the concentrated project volumes.

  • Own the hub work plan and tracker; balance capacity against perimeter volumes (transfer/promotes, Reduction in Force, appointments) and flag when variation exceeds tolerance.

  • Review casework, coach the team, set the standard for accuracy, and provide consistent feedback and development.

  • Protect the employee experience and SLA adherence throughout the concentrated set-up window.

Data Validation Governance:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Virtual Resource (VR) team — sequencing transfers, agreeing handshakes, and managing the validation queue.

  • Own the validation control: assure that every VR-executed transfer/promote is validated to standard, sign off reconciliations, and maintain the audit trail and exception log.

  • Triage defects with VR, drive corrections through to closure, and escalate systemic issues to the Implementation Lead.

  • Oversee EIB mass-change activity and ensure Workday remains accurate and complete across the hub perimeter.

Workday Employee Data Management:

  • Oversee onboarding of internal appointments and external hires— Workday profile set-up, contracts and business letters, joiner checklists.

  • Oversee processing of moves, promotions and exits in Workday, ensuring data accuracy across elements (i.e. cost center).

  • Ensure EIB uploads for mass data changes are prepared, validated and loaded with disciplined error-checking.

  • Step in to process high-priority or complex transactions where needed.

Documentation, Exits & Recruitment:

  • Ensure transfer letters and required documents are generated, signed, tracked and uploaded to Workday before Target day (audit-ready handoff package).

  • Oversee execution of exits, including Reduction in Force, compliantly and with in-market partners and Legal.

  • Oversee processing of internal (movers) and external (hires) appointments, ensuring manager alignment and compensation are confirmed before processing.

Pay, Benefits & Exit Oversight:

  • Ensure accurate compensation data flows into payroll systems and that benefits enrolment/derolment is coordinated for OTIF processing.

  • Oversee severance administration and any local legal payments (LFR) in collaboration with in-market partners.

Governance, Reporting & Control

  • Maintain the governance piece for the hub — including SOP updates and change management to the team.

  • Report hub progress, SLA achievement, risks and exceptions into the Implementation Lead's governance rhythm.

  • Verify salary-impacting/pay letters, maintain the error record, and drive course-correction across the team.

  • Serve as a point of contact for projects and lead continuous-improvement initiatives within the hub.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in People Operations, shared service centers, HR advisory or HR partnering, including team leadership or senior specialist responsibility.

  • Familiarity with HR processes and policies, ideally in multi-country or regional operations.

  • Strong proficiency in Workday and ServiceNow (or similar systems like SAP).

  • Experience of a data migration, mergers & acquisitions, separation or mass-change programme strongly preferred.

SKILLS

  • Required proficiency in English

  • Understanding of Agile ways of working.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise real-time information and structured escalation.

  • Strong stakeholder management.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency and ability to turn data into action.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset.

  • Excellent prioritisation and capacity-planning skills in fast-paced environments.

  • Commitment to quality, accuracy and adherence to SLAs.

  • Effective team collaboration and leadership across global hubs/locations.

  • Effective Project Management skills, understanding of Gantt Charts and similar project management tools.

  • Adaptability to new technologies and systems.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Able to define and assure the validation approach for VR-transferred data — what "good" looks like, what evidence is required, and how sign-off works.

  • Advanced Excel and reconciliation techniques (lookups, pivot tables, large-file comparison) to QA large data sets and interpret Workday reporting for control.

  • Solid understanding of Workday EIB loads, security/assignment groups and business-process configuration, sufficient to guide the team and interface credibly with VR.

  • Strong grasp of data-privacy, segregation-of-duties, evidence and audit requirements in a shared-tenant separation.

  • Fluent with Gantt charts, RAID/tracker management and Agile ways of working to run a milestone-driven plan.

BEHAVIORS

  • You are energized by delivering with excellence, taking personal ownership through building resilience and taking care of your own wellbeing.

  • You are relentless on prioritization and focusing on what counts, making maximum performance impact in areas you touch.

  • You are constantly staying three steps ahead on ways to do things differently, interpreting data, spotting issues and opportunities; whilst caring deeply about what Consumer and Customers need.
