We are looking for a skilled PCB Design Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in PCB design, layout, and hardware development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing complex, multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer and a solid understanding of high-speed digital design principles.

You will be responsible for translating circuit designs and schematics into reliable, manufacturable PCB layouts while ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, component placement, routing, and design-for-manufacturing requirements are met. Experience working with 6-layer or higher-layer PCBs and high-speed interfaces will be highly valuable.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts based on schematics and hardware requirements.
• Create and maintain PCB layouts, component footprints, libraries, design rules, and manufacturing documentation using Altium Designer.
• Handle complete PCB design activities, including component placement, routing, layer stack-up, design-rule checks, and layout optimization.
• Work on 6-layer and higher-layer PCB designs, ensuring appropriate routing strategies and board constraints.
• Apply PCB layout best practices for high-speed signals, power distribution, grounding, EMI/EMC, and thermal considerations.
• Support the implementation of high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, MIPI, LVDS, or similar interfaces.
• Review schematics and collaborate with hardware engineers to identify potential layout, connectivity, and manufacturability issues.
• Perform design-rule checks and resolve layout-related issues before releasing designs for manufacturing.
• Prepare Gerber files, drill files, BOM-related inputs, fabrication drawings, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to address manufacturing and assembly requirements.
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging, design validation, and modifications based on hardware testing results.
• Maintain PCB design documentation and follow established engineering and quality standards.

Must-Have Skills

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in PCB design and layout.
• Strong experience designing multilayer PCBs, particularly 6-layer or higher-layer boards.
• Strong understanding of PCB layout principles, component placement, routing, grounding, and power distribution.
• Practical knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Ability to interpret schematics and convert them into production-ready PCB layouts.

Good-to-Have Skills

• High-Level Design
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, MIPI, and LVDS.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity considerations.
• Understanding of EMI/EMC design practices.
• Experience with prototype development, board bring-up, and hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant industry experience in PCB design and hardware development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
