JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders and meal tickets
• Set up, stock, and load meal carts for delivery to patient care areas
• Delivers patient meal trays accurately and timely throughout the hospital
• Ensures meal accuracy and compliance with dietary requirements
• Manages multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and reliability
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Follows food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards

Customer Service

• Provides courteous service to patients, families, and staff
• Addresses customer needs and escalates concerns when appropriate
• Demonstrates a positive, service-focused attitude

Communication

• Communicates professionally with patients, families, staff, and care teams
• Shares information accurately to support meal service operations
• Collaborates with team members to ensure efficient meal delivery

Physical Requirements

• Stands and walks for extended periods
• Pushes and maneuvers meal carts throughout the hospital
• Lifts and carries food trays and supplies
• Maintains safety and service standards in a fast-paced environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
