Part Time Nanny – Hoboken, NJ

A welcoming family in Hoboken, NJ 07030 is seeking an engaging, Spanish-fluent , nanny to support two children (ages 8 and 3) with after-school pick-ups, homework help, and evening routines. 

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (approximately 15 hours per week)
• Note: Schedule may shift to a 2:45 PM start later this year.

Responsibilities:

• Walk to pick up the 8-year-old from school/aftercare (~10-minute walk) and accompany home.
• Provide 4th-grade homework assistance and practice conversational Spanish.
• Walk to pick up the 3-year-old from afterschool center (~5-minute walk) around 5:00 PM.
• Plan engaging activities for both children, including arts & crafts, outdoor play, and visiting a local park.
• Assist with evening routines, including personal care (bathing, dressing) and light tidying up of child-related areas.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in childcare or nanny roles.
• Fluency in Spanish (ability to assist with Spanish homework and practice language skills).
• Ability to manage after-school pickup routines on foot and supervise two children safely.
• Ability to assist with 4th-grade academics.
• Must be able to reliably commute to family home

Preferred:

• First Aid/CPR certification

Compensation:

• $28–$30 per hour
