We are looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the business. You will work across functions — finance, HR, legal, facilities, and vendor management — to ensure that the infrastructure behind Bryq runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving practical problems, building systems from scratch, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You are the person who notices what everyone else is too busy to fix.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational processes across functions including HR administration, procurement, vendor management, and facilities
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce cost and improve speed
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and service providers, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
- Support financial operations including budget tracking, expense management, and reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures across the business
- Support HR operations including onboarding logistics, compliance tracking, and policy administration
- Prepare operational reports and present findings to senior leadership
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in an operations, business management, or office management role
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience managing vendor relationships and procurement processes
- Proficiency with productivity and project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Google Workspace)
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
- Exposure to HR operations or legal and compliance administration
- Experience with financial reporting or budget management
- Project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
